书中写了三个世界上赫赫有名的人物。

《赞美闲散》阅读感想这本书是去年底偶尔得来的。

我一直知道罗素写有这本书,中译本的《征服幸福》经常后面附着这本小小的书,译名叫作《悠闲颂》,以至于我一直以为这也是一本关于个人幸福的self-help类型的书。

《悠闲颂》这样的名字(特别是中文译名)带有那么点诗意,但事实上这本书是分析类型的。

这本书再一次显示了罗素对现代社会,和现代社会中的各种人群的理解非常透彻。

这和罗素本身出生于一战之前的宁静时光,又经常能去外国旅行,自己的经历又非常丰富有关,当然另一方面,也和罗素饱览历史,知识渊博有关。

不过,In Praise Of Idleness这本书,其实也不完全是经济专著。

罗素在前言中说,他想在这本书里强调一下宽容、平和的重要性。

如今的世界(这本书写于1930年左右)太注重效率和行动力,宽容很容易被忽略。

这里说的宽容,不仅仅指道德意义上对人的宽容,而是一种普遍思维上的open mind。

这本书是最近几年来我读的对我世界观影响最大的一本书了。

去年底读完,我的笔记本上有好多次努力写读后感,都没有能写完。

因为似乎不管怎么写,都不能表达全我对这本书的感受,所以这次我准备想到哪就写到哪,现在距离刚读完那本书也已经有半年多了,还能一下子想起来的地方都是印象深的地方。

也许几年前我还是学生的时候如果来读这本书,不会有现在这样深的感受。

作为一个成年人,诚实努力却无法独立,生活无保障,活得很累。

这种状态是正常的吗?财富分配应该是这样的吗?于是有生以来第一次,我对政治经济问题有了兴趣。

罗素提到了很多现代社会里常见的误解。

比如注重生产不注重消费现象。

这种现象平时很容易发现,我们都知道大家关注业绩,无非就是产量或者推销成功案例个数之类。

而对于消费,普遍的观点是节约是美德。

这种普遍的想法是矛盾的,因为生产和消费是同一个transaction的两方面。

罗素指出金钱本身的积累,对于一个国家来说是没有意义的。

要鼓励民众消费,比如一个人为朋友举行派对,那么他就养活了很多别人,比如卖饮料的,生产饮料的人等等。
