Writing
Step 1:Leading in.
Show students some pictures and let them watch and answer “what’s wrong with the earth?” “What will you do to help make less pollution and save energy?”
设计意图:图片导入新课引起学生兴趣,问题的解答为下一步写作做好了语言上的准备。
Step 2: Group work
1. Show students one writing exercise and get them to find the
points.
2. Group work: discuss the structure of writing.
Task1: Underline the topic sentence.
Task2: Add transitional words or phrases for detail sentences. Task3:Write a closing sentence.
设计意图:小组活动完成任务,学会写作的基本结构,为下面写作埋下伏笔,提供铺垫。
Step 3: Writing
1. Analyze the requirement of the writing material.
2. Writing: Write a passage using the structure students learned:
topic sentence, detail sentences and closing sentence. Get them to use transitional words or phrases to make the sentences more beautiful and coherent.
3. Show time.
Show two students’ writings and get other students to make comments on them and at the same time learn how to check a composition.
设计意图:使学生尽力领会不同学生对文章的点评,培养学生选词和用词的能力,指导学生多模仿好文章的优点。
