一、综述本课题国内外研究动态，说明选题的依据和意义（宋体，小四号）

For the study of English loan words, and now the academic study of the situation is too particular about foreign understanding of the meaning of the word itself, and not the foreign words on the very important position in economic and political globalization, it is necessary to foreign words history, geography, war, culture, religion and other aspects oforeign-depth analysis of the reasons for the origin of the word. In 1978, lbert C. Baugh & Thomas Cable claim that “Comprehensive and balanced, this classic exploration of the history of the English language combines internal linguistic history and external cultural history—from the Middle Ages to the present”. Emphasis is on the political, social and cultural forces that affect language . Emrik Slettengren ,Sibylle Hug ,J. Alan Pfeffer ,John Mateer ,Laurence Urdang,they all study loanwords in English from different views.

In China, Li Funing, who mastered English, French, German, Latin and Greek, wrote the works of "History of English" .Another famous person is Y u zhiyuan ,he devoted much of his time to the development of English language linguistics.Also,like Hu zhuanglin , Xu jiajin , Wang zuoliang ,they all introduced English from different levels and perspectives. I am the focus of this paper is to elaborate on these aspects of foreign words, so that everyone outside to have a more comprehensive understanding of the word.

English loan words through the analysis of the causes, understanding the different etymology of English loan words in order to increase interest in learning English, to expand and enrich knowledge; in English There are four main sources of foreign words, namely, French vocabulary, Latin vocabulary, German vocabulary, and other various languages, this paper aims to break the four sections of the division, re-by the war, literature, religion, and trade point of view of foreign words in English were discussed. This study of English words of foreign origin has important theoretical significance, but also enable us to better understand the deep meaning of English words of foreign .
