(2)、教材的地位与作用本课是小学六年级第一册《新标准英语》Module 1《Unit 1 The Great Wall》,它是整个模块的第1课时。

The Great Wall Great Wall of China is a very long man-made wall that was built to protect these states . It spans延伸到ten provinces and its total length is 6,700 km (3,948 miles). The Great Wall extends from ShanHaiGuan (the 'Old Dragon Head'), a seaport海港 along the coast of BoHai Hay, in the east (near BeiDaiHe resort) to JiaYuGuan Pass in GanSu Province in the west. 首先,说教材本节课是外研社小学英语第七册第一模块的第一课时,它通过对话的方式讲述了我国伟大的建筑奇迹——长城。
让学生学习单词:postcard, more, thousand, kilometre, million; 学习句型: These postcards are great! It’s a picture of the Great Wall. 通过本节课的学习,让学生可以用简单的句子介绍某个地方或某件事物的情况。

(一)说教材
理论依据: 阅读是组成英语课程资源的基本要素, 把握本 课阅读的定位和作用, 并以此为依据分析和设计教学步骤, 体 现教学大纲的意图, 从而使教师成功驾御教学过程, 取得最佳 教学效果。 Unit1Travel是基础模块下册的第一个单元,起到衔接 上、下册教材的作用,是学生进一步巩固和提高英语水平的依 托,而本课又是unit1 的第一课,是学生英语水平进入新阶 段的关键一课。作为新学期的第一课,该单元的语言知识和技 能都是围绕“travel”这一话题,而本课则讨论世界奇观—— 中国长城。通过对这个话题的讨论和学习,使学生学会与旅行, 与长城相关的词汇和句型,并能够自由的表达自己的观点和看 法,增强口头表达技巧和英语实际运用能力。

教学策略选择与设计及学法指导
说教法
1)任务驱动法。通过给学生布置任务,使学生明确学习目标, 让学生通过自身的努力,去获得成功的果实。 2)情景教学法。通过模拟真实的导游工作,使学生身临其境, 创造性地表达交流,把单调机械的景点介绍 变的更加生动活泼。 3)竞争激励法。教学中设计了两个比赛,看哪组导游准备的 全面并介绍的好,哪组答对课前的问题 又多又快并给与加分奖励,以此来调动 全班同学投入课堂。
