在以前的学习中,学生已经学习了一些行为动作的表达法,而教学“谈论能力”只是将情态动词can用于这些表达中;情态动词can在肯定旬、否定句和疑问句中的构成,和学生已经学过的be动词的结构有相同的地方,教师在教学中要善于引导学生比较这两种结构的异同以加强记忆。

单元教学建议采用Classifying,Role—playing,Comprehending in context和Skimming的学习策略,利用教学图片或制作多媒体课件来展开课堂Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动、小组活动和写作练习,谈论各自的能力。

Unit 10:Can you play the guitar?教学设计一、备教材本单元的核心教学项目是“谈论能力”。

(talk about abilities),整个教学内容主要围绕“会做什么”这个话题展开,本课是本单元的第二课时,要求学生掌握运用新的词汇和重点句型。

以此为语言背景,让学生学习感知,初步掌握本单元的语法项目“情态动词can”的用法。

本单元的一个突出特点是:语言目标和语言功能能够有机结合起来,即使用情态动词can来谈论学习自己某一方面所具备的能力。

二、备学生初一学生性格特点是活泼好动,参与活动的热情会很高。

面对可塑性很强的学生,作为英语教师,我们一定要保护他的对英语学习的热情。

所以,本节课,我要求学生以小组活动为主,充分实践,展示个性,让学生运用所学知识来解决问题。

三、教学目标1、知识目标:谈论能力重点句型:Can you/she/he… ? Yes ,I/she/he can. No,I/she/he can, t.What club do you want to join? I want to join the music club.2、能力目标:(1)掌握用情态动词表达自己在某方面的才能,谈谈彼此的特长与爱好。

(2)通过“开设俱乐部”和“调查活动”两项任务的完成过程,培养学生的群体意识和合作能力。

3、情感目标:通过语言交际训练,增加学习的乐趣,从而激发学生不断进行探究,自主学习知识, 为自己的人生道路积累更多的、更丰富的才艺。

四、教学重点、难点、重点:内容是使用情态动词can谈论自己。

难点:can的一般疑问句,用情态动词can来谈论彼此的特长与爱好。

七、教学过程根据初一学生的身心发展特点,结合本课教学内容,我在教学中采用了四个环节: 热身运动,知识呈现,任务型练习,作业布置。

Stepl:本课的热身运动,我采用师生共同拍手齐诵歌谣的形式来复习上节课的词汇,迅速拉近了师生间的距离,有效消除了学生对新学内容所产生的焦虑感和紧张感,而且也激发出学生的学习兴趣,使他们很快地进入学习状态,同时也自然引出本课的句型:Can you/she/he… ? Yes ,I/she/he can. No,I/she/he can, t.与学生展开对话,并利用多媒体展示该句型,既复习了旧句型,又引入了新的句型。
