中考衣食住用行

衣：中考前这段时间，提醒同学们出门一定要看天气，

否则淋雨感冒，就会影响考场发挥。穿着自己习惯的衣服，

可以让人在紧张时产生亲切感和安全感，并能有效防止不良

情绪产生。

食：清淡的饮食最适合考试，切忌吃太油腻或者刺激性

When I was a kid in Minnesota, watermelons were expensive. One of my father's

friends, Bernie, was a rich businessman, who owned a large store in St. Paul.

Every summer, when the first watermelons arrived, Bernie would call. Dad and

I would go to Bernie 's place. We'd sit on the edge of the dock (码头)and got ready for a big meal. Bernie would take his knife, cut our first watermelon, hand us both a big piece and sit down next to us. No one can change the weather. Nobody can control the weather. But if we read

correctly the signs around us, we can tell what the more important changes in the

weather will be. This way of telling what the weather will be like on the following day or two is called weather forecasting.

For many centuries and in all countries, people have studied the weather and

tried to make weather forecasting. Rings around the sun are a sign of coming rain. Many people feel their joints hurt in their bones if wet weather is coming. Some birds fly high if fine weather is coming, but they fly near the ground if rainy or
