课程简介
《英语视听说》是针对我校非艺术类、非英语专业一年 级本科生开设的一门通识选修课，是帮助学生巩固英语基本 功、拓宽知识面、加深对世界了解的重要课程。该课程在培 养学生人文素养、帮助学生了解与掌握国外社会与文化知识、 成为具有国际化视野的复合型人才发挥着重要作用。
课程目标
本课程目标在于通过多种形式的“视”“听”“说”教学， 运用多模态的教学工具和形式，提高学生对真实语言环境下各类视 听材料的理解能力和口头表达能力，增强其对英语语言文化及英文 表达的理解掌握，以培养学生较好的语言运用能力和较强的视听说 水平。同时培养学生的自主学习和协作学习能力，提高综合文化素 养，培养学生的跨文化交际意识及能力，锻炼其批判思维能力，以 适应未来个人发展、社会发展和国家融入全球经济建设的需要。
• 课程目标 3. 口语表达方面，能运用复述、总结、对话、汇报演讲等 形式围绕视听材料和话题展开各种口语活动，从句子到段落再到语篇、 系统性地提高学生的口语表达能力，加深其对英语国家的政治经济文 化社会等方面的了解，培养批判思维能力。
教学内容
本课程教材以中国留学生在英国牛津大学求学为背景主线， 涵盖其学习生活的各个方面，以单元的形式呈现不同话题， 以单元任务为驱动设计形式多样、内在联系、难度递进的听 力和口语活动。本课程的课堂教学主要由单元内容导入、音 视频材料理解和练习、单元话题讨论及扩展练习、口头陈述 及基本要求、英语发音知识等五个部分组成。

（1）多媒体教学与传统板书 教学相结合，充分利用网络资 源，针对不同的教学内容设计 不同的媒体表现形式和教学方 法，加强信息技术与课程的深 层次整合，增强教学内容的直 观性、生动性、实用性。
