Many ss feel great difficulty in l and s part, today I attach much importance to the while listening part and speaking part.

In the listening process, ss should try to imitate and paraphrase the scrip ts with their own words and do exercises.

consulting exercise, ss do role play to deepen their understanding, that is, One student represents A while the other represents B. practice a conversation about their winter vacation using their own words.

----so ss can learn from activities which benefits to the speaking part;

As we all know, listening belongs to input which has a great effect on output just like speaking. So according to listening skills, in the speaking part, I teach ss how to speak from substitution to communication.

Activity 1 comedy

I begin this part with a comedy. The whole process is from Perform—speak to compare

1) Ask several ss to perform comedy with me and others guess the meaning.

(the comedy contains 3 scenes: book a hotel room and flight tickets; search information and prepare a backpack; buy food.

in the comedy I act a role with ss to establish a speaking model for them. So ss can learn from me and find their language obstacles and then conquer them)

2) Present pictures related with comedies and let ss feel the content.

3) Based on the comedy and pictures, they talk about their preparations if they start to travel. And listen to the tape to compare their understanding with listening scripts.during the process, I give them the instruction and comments.
