教学内容:Unit 2 Boys and GirlsStory Time1.指导依据说明现代外语教育注重语言学习的过程,强调语言学习的实践性,主张学生在语境中接触、体验和理解真实语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言(英语课程标准,2011)。

以学生为主体,培养学生思维,感受英语学习的乐趣,引导学生用英语做事。

在真正使用英语的同时,关注英语语言背后的文化内涵和蕴含其中的情感教育。

2.教学背景分析第一单元学习了家庭成员的称谓,第二单元开始学习单数的人称代词和物主代词。

本单元的核心词汇与句型有friend,classmate,he,she,his,her,Whois…?He/sheis…What’s his / her name? His/her name is …在第二单元故事之前已经学习了第三单元,内容为描述朋友外貌特征。

本堂课是借班上课,对学生不是十分了解,也刚好借助这一真实生活情景相互熟悉。

课前调查发现,学生对上述功能句的掌握层级比较明显,所以在课堂上需要适当提供分层的活动空间,让不同层次的学生都有所得。

在与学生交流中发现,近一半的学生对课堂常用语存在理解困难,需要教师尽量使用简单句并适当提供中文翻译;另外学生间同伴合作的能力较弱,需要老师培养学生同伴合作的意识。

3.教学目标分析1.能够借助录音、图片、文字及教师的讲解,读懂小故事,尝试合作表演小故事。

2.在故事情境中复习有关询问和回答人物姓名的功能句:He/sheis ...Wha t’shis/hername? His/hername is …;了解What is that?与Who is he/she?的使用语境。

初步体会语言在真实情境中的使用,培养学生语言能力。

3.培养学生观察、想象、预测等思维能力,渗透与人初次交往时的基本礼仪。

1. 热身活动
(1) 学生说唱本单元的歌遥,复习本单元的词汇和功能句。

(2) 教师描述天气状况,学生说出此种天气状况下可以进行的游戏或活动,如教师说:It’s snowy.学生说:I can make a snowman.教师说:It’s windy.学生说:I can fly a kite.
(3) 学生结对做以上游戏。

2. 呈现故事
(1) 教师引导学生观察图一,并提出相关问题,如:What animals can you see in the picture? What’s the weather like?教师将下雨的天气图标粘贴在黑板上,并继续提问:What are they doing? Do they like this weather?
(2) 教师让学生打开课本浏览故事,初步感知故事大意。

3. 图片环游,理解故事
教师讲述故事,并借助问题引导学生继续深人观察图片,加深对故事的理解。

(1) 在讲解图二内容时,教师让学生观察图片,回答以下问题: It’s rainy. What are the penguin and duck doing? Are they happy? Why? What does the duck say?通过师生对话,启发并引导学生理解企鹅和鸭子乐水的天性,对比猴子、猫和企鹅、鸭子的感受。

(2) 在讲解图三内容时,教师引导学生观察第三幅图的天气情况,并提问:What happened? What‘s the weather like now?教师将表示晴天的天气图标粘贴在黑板上,然后继续提问:What do they want to do now?
此时教师应引导学生观察猴子和猫的面部表情,并模仿录音中的语音语调跟读。

(3) 在讲解图四内容时,教师可分以下步骤进行:
①在学生观察图片的同时,教师播放录音,请学生注意听企鹅说的话。

4. 熟悉故事
(1) 教师让学生浏览故事或观看视频,再次熟悉故事。

(2) 教师无停顿地播放录音,引导学生跟着录音指图,熟悉文本。

(3) 教师通过提问不同天气情况下小动物们做的事情,检测学生是否已经理解故事内容,然后丰富板书内容,如教师指着黑板上表示下雨的天气图标提问.when it is rainy what do the cat and monkey do?待学生回答出正确答案后,教师将做模型的图片粘贴在该天气图标旁边。

(4) 教师再次播放故事录音,让学生看图跟读句子:教师应注意指导学生模仿录音的语音语调,读出人物的语气以增加朗读的趣味性。

(5) 学生结对或分小组朗读故事。

5. 表演故事
(1) 教师带领学生分角色表演故事。

由教师扮演猴子,请三名学生分别扮演鸭子、猫和企鹅。

教师鼓励学生做出恰当的动作。

(2) 学生四人一组表演故事,教师应鼓励学生尽量脱离书本,只看黑板上的图片提示。

(3) 教师请几组学生到讲台前展示,同时引导其他学生认真观看,并对展示的学生予以鼓励性评价,教师也要表扬认真观看的学生。

Tip:在表演故事的时候,教师应能力较强的学生尝试用自己的语言丰富故
事内容,而不是局限于教材中的语言;鼓励学生发挥想象力,合理地为故事中的
人物增添对话,以此培养学生的逻辑思维能力和语言表达能力。

备选活动
1. 听故事,指图画
(1) 教师读出或播放故事对话,让学生迅速指出是哪一幅图。

(2) 教师请两名学生共看一本书,然后教师打乱顺序讲故事,让这两名学生比赛,看谁能更快地指出相应的图片。

这样可增加听力活动的趣味性,同时也能帮助能力稍弱的学生。

2. 抽图片,说句子
教师随机抽取故事图片,请学生说出相应语言,教师可以提示学生说句子时注意模仿人物的表情和语气。

单元评价建议
1. 在课堂上,教师要及时对学生的表现给予口头激励性评价和体态语激励性评价,如使用语言Well done! Great!等或点头、微笑,以及和学生击掌庆祝等。

2. 除了教师评价外,学生每完成书中的一项活动,可分别采取自评、互评等方式在项目标号前画小笑脸,如:完成了 A 项任务,则在A字前面画小笑脸。

3. 学生在单元结束时进行小结,数一数自己获得了多少小笑脸。

对于小笑脸达到一定数量的学生,教师可以为其兑换小奖品,或颁发小奖状。

4. “Review & Rewards”的使用方法建议
方式一:教师可把该板块作为对每一课时每一项的检测来使用,让学生随时积累,并于课后在家长的监督和帮助下粘贴所学对应项的小贴纸。

方式二:也可以把其作为单元整体的检测,在单元课时结束后利用十五分钟左右的时间让学生结对或小组共同评价,一边复习,一边将剪贴页中的贴纸粘贴到学生用书第15页“Review & Rewards”的相成位置。
