AND RURAL AREAS IN CHINA

Abstract :By paying close attention to the course and current situation of the coordinated development of urban and rural areas since the reform and opening carried out in China for a long time,the thesis

g ives a definition to the coordinated development of urban and rural areas,w hich is the thoughts of co -ordinating the development of urban and rural areas and dealing w ith the relation of urban and rural ar -eas.It means that by gathering urban and rural into a large system of society and economy and chang -ing the situation of separating urban and rural,forming a new relation of urban and rural areas,im -proving the function and construction of urban and rural areas the factors of production are disposed properly betw een the urban and rural,and the interest is distributed properly betw een the urban and rural areas,the course of industrialization,urbanization,modernization of our country is advanced,the g ap between urban and rural is narrowed.It summarizes the intensions of the coordinated development of urban and rural areas;mechanisms of goal motivated force,varied modes,varied restrict factors and measures,etc.Its intentions of the coordinated development of urban and rural areas are varied,and one of w hich is to narrow the gap betw een urban and rural,another is to dispose proper the factors of production between urban and rural,or to meet the people p s demand and so on.The thesis has also looked into the causes of the failure of coordinated development of urban and rural areas.By making a thorough investigation into those causes,the thesis summarizes its measures of the coordinated deve-l

opment of urban and rural areas,which include removing the two units construction of separating ur -ban and rural areas,improving urban system,coordinating the industrial construction,equipping the environment and ecology installation,improv ing population performance,protecting the cultivated land,etc.At last it draws contribution and problems from those studies,then look forward to its trend.So that it lays a foundation to the study on coordinated development plan of urban and rural ar -eas.
