To understand the conversation about the museums.

To listen and understand the sentences giving instructions.

To talk about some public rules with the sentences learned in this lesson. To learn to use imperative sentences and modal verbs to give instructions. 3.attitude aims

Cultivate students’ interest about museums.

Step 1 Warming up

1. free talking time

Ask two students prepare five questions to come to the front and ask other students.

2. Let students see some pictures and ask students some questions.

T:what can you see in the picutues?

S: China

T: where can you see these?

S: Museums.

If you visit the museum,you must know what you can do or what you can’t do in the museum.So today we’ll learn “Module 5 Museum Unit 1 You mustn’t touch it!”

【设计意图】;通过学生之间的英语问答交流锻炼学生的口语能力和听力能力。由博物馆的图片来吸引学生的注意力,提高学生的兴趣,导入本单元的内容衔接自然,便于学生理解。

Step 2 Speaking

T: Have you ever seen these signs in the museums?

S: Yes, we have.

T: OK, these signs are very importan for us. Let’s learn to say and decribe them.

No smoking.

So next we wil learn some signs around us .

Don’t turn left. You musn’t turn left. You aren’t allowed to turn left.

1.Listen to the tape carefully and answer the following questions.
