Tonight，I went to see a play. On my way home，a car seemed to purposely cut me off , almost causing me to hit it. I was both a bit in shock and angry. “I turned my bright lights on the driver and drove right behind him. At the next stop light, I pulled up beside him. He was angry, and seemed to shout bad words at me.

今晚，我去看了一出戏。在我回家的路上，一辆车似乎故意拦住我，差点撞上它。我既震惊又生气。“我把亮灯对准了司机，就在他后面开车。”下一个红绿灯，我把车停在他旁边。他很生气，似乎对我说了坏话。

I rolled down my window and said, “Really? You're mad at me when YOU cut me off?!” He replied “YES!” And then threw what I think was his coffee in my face! It covered my face, my car and my steering wheel. Thankfully, it was cold.

I didn’t know what to do but I was angry and tired and not feeling 100%, so I drov e behind him with my bright lights on. The car quickly turned down an alley, trying to lose me, but I followed persistently. I had no plan.

我不知道该怎么做，但是我很生气，很累，没有百分之百的感觉，所以我开着灯开在他后面。那辆车急急忙忙地拐进一条小巷，想把我弄丢，但我一直跟在后面。我没有计划。

The car pulled over to the right, and a young man got out of his car. He didn’t look so mean or scary. Actually, he looked a bit sad, really. I sensed I didn’t have to worry and I wasn’t afraid.

汽车停在右边，一个年轻人下车了。他看上去不那么刻薄，也不那么吓人。实际上，他看起来有点难过，真的。我感觉到我不需要担心，我也不害怕。

I pulled over to the left side a head of him and got out of my car. I shouted at him, “ Really?! You are going to throw your coffee on me?” He tried to reason with me as he was approaching.

我把车停在他前面的左边，然后下车。我对他喊道：“真的吗？！你要把咖啡扔在我身上吗？“当他走近时，他试图跟我讲道理。

“Stay back” I yelled out. “I won’t hurt you,” he replied. I could tell that he meant it. I started to cry. He was walking toward me , kindly.

“退后”我大声喊道。“我不会伤害你的，”他回答。我看得出他是认真的。我开始哭了。他正向我走来，和蔼可亲。

“Please don’t cry,” he said. “I apologize. I should not have thrown my ice coffee on you. You turned your bright lights on me and that made me angry. This is my second job today. I am just delivering pizza —that’s what I do. I am in a rush, like everyone else.” “That is not who I am. I am not this person, ” he added.

“请不要哭，”他说。“对不起。我不该把冰咖啡扔给你的。你把你的亮光对着我，这让我很生气。这是我今天的第二份工作。我只是送披萨，我就是这么做的。和其他人一样，我很着急。“我不是这样的人。我不是这个人，“他补充说。
