本堂课是借班上课，对学生不是十分了解，也刚好借助这一真实生活情景相互熟悉。
课前调查发现，学生对上述功能句的掌握层级比较明显，所以在课堂上需要适当提供分层的活动空间，让不同层次的学生都有所得。
在与学生交流中发现，近一半的学生对课堂常用语存在理解困难，需要教师尽量使用简单句并适当提供中文翻译；另外学生间同伴合作的能力较弱，需要老师培养学生同伴合作的意识。
3.教学目标分析1.能够借助录音、图片、文字及教师的讲解，读懂小故事，尝试合作表演小故事。
2.在故事情境中复习有关询问和回答人物姓名的功能句：He/sheis ...Wha t’shis/hername? His/hername is …；了解What is that?与Who is he/she?的使用语境。
初步体会语言在真实情境中的使用，培养学生语言能力。
3.培养学生观察、想象、预测等思维能力，渗透与人初次交往时的基本礼仪。

一、教学目标（Teaching aims）
1. 能够借助录音、图片、文字和教师的讲解读懂本单元的小故事，并能在教师帮助下尝试表演故事。
二、教学建议
1. 复习、热身
(1) 学生说唱本单元第一课歌谣和补充歌曲，复习词汇和功能句。
(2) “看动作，猜词组”小游戏：教师请几名学生做动作，其他学生说出相应词组。
(3) 师生谈话活动，复习功能句。
教师手持单词卡片问学生：Can you...?
2. 呈现故事
(1) 教师通过提问，引导学生仔细观察第一张故事大挂图并预测故事内容。
参考问题如下：Who can you see in the picture? Where are they? What is Monkey doing? Can you guess what they are saying? What will happen next? Can you guess?
(2) 学生打开课本看故事，验证预测，初步感知故事大意。
3. 图片环游，理解故事
教师讲述故事，并借助问题引导学生深入观察图片，加深对故事的理解。
故事讲述参考如下：
图一：Who are they? Is Monkey happy? What is he doing? What does he ask? Can Penguin make it?
图二：What is Monkey doing? What does Lucky ask? How does Penguin answer him?
图三：Where are they? What are Monkey and Lucky playing? What does Angel ask? What does Penguin say?
图四：What’s in the sky? What is Monkey doing? What does Angel ask? How does Penguin answer her?
图五：What are they doing? Do you like the snowman? Can you make it? What does Angel ask? What’s Penguin’s answer?
图六：Where are they? Is Penguin happy? What can Penguin do? How do his friends feel for him?
4. 听录音，模仿跟读故事
(1) 学生听录音，再次感知故事内容。
(2) 学生看课本浏览故事，熟悉文本。
(3) 学生思考问题，体会故事寓意。
参考问题：What can you learn from the story?
Tip：谈论故事隐含的寓意时，每个学生的理解可能不一样，因此答案应该
是开放式的，此时教师也可以允许学生用中文表达。
(4) 听录音指图：教师播放录音，让学生跟录音指文字。
(5) 教师逐图播放故事录音，学生看图跟读句子，仔细模仿录音的语音语调，读出人物的语气以增加朗读的趣味性。
Tip：为使学生更熟练地掌握对话，表达更自如，教师可重复播放每组对话，
让学生跟读和模仿，然后再尝试着请能力强一些的学生重复。
万不可只让学生听
一遍就急于让他们输出，那样的话既不利于培养学生良好的语音语调，也容易挫
伤他们的积极性。
5. 表演故事
(1) 教师带领学生分角色尝试扮演教师扮演Monkey，请两名学生分别扮演Lucky 和Angel，其他学生共同扮演Penguin扮演过程中教师鼓励学生做出恰当的动作。
Tip：教师可准备飞机模型、小自行车、足球和风筝等道具。
(2) 教师请班上几组能力较好的学生到讲台前分角色表演故事。
(3) 在以上活动的基础上，教师请学生分组表演故事。
组内可轮换角色，以充分练习。
Tip：分组活动前，教师可以告诉学生不必逐一表演每一个故事情节，可以
有顺序地变化，也可以跳过一些情节，若能补充一些情节更好。
(4) 请几组学生到讲台前展示。
教师要引导其他学生认真观看，并对展示的学生予以鼓励性评价，教师也要表扬认真观看的学生。
备选活动
1. 拓展故事情节
教师可以鼓励学生发挥想象，创造新的情境及内容进行对话和表演，如：根据
猴子会爬树的特点可以增加提问：Can you climb the tree?根据小狗跑得快的特点可以增加提问：Can you run fast?根据天使会飞的特点可以增加提问：Can you fly?等等
2. 改编故事
在可能的条件下，教师可以鼓励学生积极进行故事改编，例如：变更小动物们进行的活动或将本故事的角色变更为其他动物角色等：也可以扩充或改变故事对话中的回答部分，教师应充分给予肯定。
这样，教师一方面可以逐步培养学生综合运用语言的能力，另一方面可以为学生今后的学习奠定良好的基础。
单元评价建议
小学英语教学评价的主要目的是培养学生的学习兴趣和积极性。
在教学中，建议教师以教学目标为依据，根据学生参与课堂活动的表现及时而有效地进行评价，并与学生自评和互评相结合，使评价形式具有多样性和可选择性。
具体建议如下：
1. 每完成一课时中某项任务，可分别采取自评或互评等方式在项目标号前画小五星或小笑脸，如：完成了A项听说歌谣任务，则在标题“A Look, listen and chant.”前面画小五星或小笑脸。
学生可以在单元结束时进行小结，数一数自己获得了多少小五星或小笑脸。
对于表现突出的学生，教师可以向家长发喜报进行表扬。
2. 课堂上教师可以适时用口头评价表扬学生，如：Well done! Good job! That’s nice! Excellent! Fantastic! Very smart!教师还可以通过肢体语言表达对学生的认可和鼓励，如：竖大拇指、点头、鼓掌、使用鼓励和赞许的眼神等。
3. 教师还可通过发小奖票的方式鼓励学生的课堂发言，奖励学生精彩的回答和积极的课堂参与表现，然后每个月给获得小奖票较多的一些学生颁发文具等小奖品。
4. “Review & Rewards”的使用方法建议
方式一：教师可把该板块作为每一课时每一项的检测，让学生随时积累，并于课后在家长的监督和帮助下粘贴所学对应项的小贴纸。
方式二：也可以把其作为单元整体的检测，在单元课时结束后利用十五分钟左右的时间让学生结对或小组共同评价，一边复习，一边将剪贴页中的贴纸粘贴到学生用书第七页“Review & Rewards”的相成位置。
