Aiming at preparing students for high quality education, the program produces versatile students with the knowledge of German language who are well prepared to do practical work.

学生应具有坚实的德语语言基础和较熟练的听、说、读、写、译的能力，对德国社会和文化有较广泛的了解，具备在外事、经贸、文化、新闻出版、教育、旅游等部门从事翻译、教学、管理、研究等方面工作的能力。

With a sound grounding of German language in listening, speaking, writing and translation, and an understanding of society and culture of Germany, students can embark on careers in commerce, education and various foreign affairs sectors as translators, teachers, managers and researchers.
