College Students' Consumption

We know from the chart that money for food and daily commodities is about 34% of total student spending-this is the largest part of their spending. Another 16% goes to entertainment and 8% for traveling, which shows that the life of college students is getting more sociable. About 12% for clothing tells us that college students pay much attention to their appearance and are eager to keep up with fashion trends. However, 17% spent on mobile phones compared to 13% on study expenses is cause for concern.

In conclusion, we learn that while students' consumption appears reasonable and realistic, instructions on their consumption are required. As our society develops, the way college students spend their money will also change—it is an adaptation to society.

Style of Living

With the development of our society, people have more choices on the style of their living. Some people enjoy living together with their parents after they have grown up, because they can take good care of their parents.

Others, however, prefer to live independently. They cherish the idea to be independent of their parents, seek more freedom and wish to have a place of their own, where they can do what they like. Besides, they don't want to be overprotected by their parents but long for chances to face the society themselves.
