《傲慢与偏见》读后感英文版

Lady Catherine, a poor mother“Pride and Prejudice” i s a movie about love. Well, Lady Catherine impressed me very much in this play. As a mother, she is admiring. She has much money and connections. For the sake of that, she looks down upon everything, especially the poor. Therefore, she is extremely disgusted with Elizabeth’s arrival. In fact, she has nothing that deserve us to like her. However, when talking about her daughter, she is always kind and merciful. She loves her daughter as most mothers do. Maybe why she asks Elizabeth to play the piano is just because of the regret to Anne. Moreover, she is proud of her daughter. She thinks that Anne is perfect expect healthy. Then when heard of Elizabeth and Darcy have met each other, she has a glimpse at Elizabeth with a meaningful eye contact. Undoubtly, she has been conscious of the affection between Elizabeth and Darcy. So she shouted insults at Elizabeth as she can. This is the nature of a mother. They always want to tidy all the obstacles out for their child. She knows that Darcy is a perfect choice for Anne’s husband. She has almost been sure of Darcy being her son- in- law without Elizabeth’s appearance. In this case, we can understand why she resents Elizabeth so much.Months later, lady Catherine hears about the story of Elizabeth and Darcy. To ensure that, she go to the town regardless of the storm and heavy rain. The plot is unforgettable for me. Lady Catherine looks dirty and untidy. She looks like an another woman compared with the former image, just a mother struggling for baby’s happiness. Well , the Catherine in this screen is so touching. Of course, she ends up with a failing ending. Lady Catherine is so overbearing at first, who loses her own dignity just for daughter’s happiness ultimately.Well, at last what I want to say is that, although Lady Catherine is not accepted by most of us, in my eyes, she is a both poor and great mother as well.。

傲慢与偏见观后感英文版200字左右

傲慢与偏见观后感英文版200字左右Pride and Prejudice is a timeless classic that has captured the hearts of readers for generations. Jane Austen's masterful storytelling and her insightful exploration of human nature have made this novel a beloved and enduring work of literature. As I delved into the lives of the Bennet family and witnessed their trials and tribulations, I was struck by the profound themes that Austen so skillfully wove throughout the narrative. At the heart of the story lies the complex relationship between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy. Their initial encounter is marked by mutual disdain, with Elizabeth's sharp wit and independent spirit clashing with Darcy's aloof demeanor and perceived arrogance. This clash of personalities is a testament to Austen's keen understanding of human dynamics and the role that preconceptions and biases play in shaping our perceptions of others. As the narrative unfolds, we witness Elizabeth's gradual transformation from a woman blinded by her own prejudices to one who is able to see beyond the surface and recognize the truecharacter of those around her. Darcy, too, undergoes a remarkable change, shedding his initial pride and arrogance to reveal a depth of emotion and a genuine concern for the well-being of those he cares about. One of the most compelling aspects of Pride and Prejudice is Austen's ability to seamlessly weave together the themes of love, social class, and personal growth. The pursuit of a suitable marriage, a common preoccupation of the time, is not merely a plot device but a window into the complex societal structures and expectations that shaped the lives of the characters.Through the lens of the Bennet family, Austen presents a nuanced and thought-provoking exploration of the role of wealth, status, and lineage in determining one's worth and prospects. The constant tension between the desire for personal fulfillment and the societal pressures to conform to certain standards is a testament to Austen's keen observation of the human condition. Moreover, the novel's enduring popularity can be attributed to Austen's masterful characterization. The Bennet sisters, each with their own unique personalities and aspirations, become fully realized individuals who captivate the reader's imagination. From the vivacious and intelligent Elizabeth to the gentle and compassionate Jane, Austen breathes life into her characters, allowing them toexplore the complexities of love, identity, and personal growth. One of the most remarkable aspects of Pride and Prejudice is Austen's ability to seamlessly blend humor, wit, and poignant insights. Her sharp social commentary, delivered through the characters' dialogue and interactions, is both entertaining and thought-provoking. The novel's ability to elicit laughter, tears, and moments of profound reflection is a testament to Austen's mastery of the written word.As I reflect on my own experience reading Pride and Prejudice, I am struck by the timelessness of its themes and the enduring relevance of its message. Austen's exploration of the human condition, with all its flaws and triumphs, resonates across generations and cultures. The lessons of humility, empathy, and self-reflection that are woven throughout the narrative serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of shedding our preconceptions and embracing the complexity of the world and the people around us.In a world that often values superficial appearances and rigid social hierarchies, Pride and Prejudice stands as a beacon of hope, reminding us that true worth lies in the depth of one's character and the capacity to grow and evolve. Austen's masterful storytelling invites us to examine our own biases and prejudices, and to embrace the transformative power of love, understanding, and the willingnessto see beyond the surface. As I turn the final page of this captivating novel, I am left with a renewed appreciation for the enduring power of literature to shape our perspectives, challenge our assumptions, and illuminate the human experience in all its complexity. Pride and Prejudice is not merely a work of fiction, but a timeless testament to the richness and diversity of the human spirit.。

傲慢与偏见读后感英文版一Ride and Prejudice is a novel written by the famous English writer, Jane Austen, who was the sixth children in a family of seven and was born in the village of steventon in Hampshire in 1775 and died of Addison’s disease in 1817. The book first published on 28 January 1813 by the bookseller Thomas Egerton who had also published Sense and Sensibility, the original version of the novel was written in 1796-1797 under the title First Impressions .Pride and Prejudice is a love story, mainly tells the love between Elizabeth and Darcy. It divided into 2 volumes and is composed of 42 chapters altogether. The major characters are Mr. Darcy, A rich and proud young man. Elizabeth, the second eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet. Mr. Bingley , A rich young bachelor. Jane, the first daughter of Mr. and Mrs.Bennet. The story begin with Bing ley’s arrival. One day when Mrs.Bennet hear Bingley has taken Netherfield, a house near her’s. She is so happy and arranged one of her five daughters marriage with him. At a ball, luckly, Bingley and Jane fall in love at the first sight. Darcy, a friend of Bingley’s , was attracted to Elizabeth, a lively and spirited girl. But Darcy greatly offends her by his supercilious behavior and this dislike is increased by Wickham, a dashing young militia officer of the unjust treatment he has met with at Darcy's hands. One day when Darcy and Bingley’s two sisters disgusted with the vulgarity of Mrs. Bennet and her two youngestdaughters, effectively separated Bingley and Jane. Meanwhile, Collins, a cousin of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, married charlotte, a friend of Elizabe th’s, for Elizabeth’s refuse to marry him. But One day Darcy send Elizabeth a letter, in which he justifies the separation of his friend Bingley and Jane and make it clear that Wickham is. So Elizabeth changed her opinions and ideas toward him. Once when Elizabeth visited her uncle and aunt in the north of England, she met Darcy there and witnessed his changes through series of behaviors, no longer pride and become gentle and attentive, all these made their marriage arranged, and they also suitably provided for Bingley and Jane’s reunited and engaged. The story ends with both their happy marriages. My point of view towards the masterpiece of Jane Austen’s is that this novel reflects the English human sentiment of the end of 18th century and the early of 19th century under the circumstance of conservative, and tells us the difference ways and attitudes to marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet’s five daughters’. Thereby reveal the author herself attitude towards marriage, that is love and marriage based on money, property and social status is not perfect, but it is also stupid Without considering all of these. There, the author emphasize the importance of ideal marriage, meanwhile, to be opposed to love & marriage based on money or property and to be opposed to people’s laugh love & marriage off.The author takes the affection/love as the cornerstone of ideal marriage between male and female. Elizabeth as the leading character in this novel, was born in the family of squireen’s, and is loved by Darcy. Darcy propose marriage to her in spite of difference in the possession of property and social status, but is refused byElizabeth for his pride , the novel demonstrate that ifthe pride of Darcy’s existed , there will be no love and also happy marriage between Elizabeth and he, it is really nice that Elizabeth witness the changes of Darcy’s through series of behavior in the following days.Viewing that he is no longer pride and then eliminating her prejudice to him, finally engaged with him and leading a happy marriage. The author described that female is in pursuit of independent personality and equal right through several different attitudes of Elizabeth for Darcy’s propose marriage. Meanwhile, demonstrate Elizabeth’s independent understanding for a happy marriage. In this article, the writer described several unperfect marriages of Elizabeth’s sisters and close friends, aimed at making a sharp contrast with Elizabeth’s beatific marriage and revealed that marriage without love but base on social status and property actually is a kind of public tragedies. Humorous, ironical, polished language and real storyline is also occurred in this article.傲慢与偏见读后感英文版二Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfectly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters. The characters have their own personalities. Mrs. Bennet is a woman who makes great efforts to marry off her daughters. Mr. Bingley is a friendly young man, but his friend, Mr. Darcy, is a very proud man who seems to always feel superior. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different.Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kittydoesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century. The family of gentleman in the countryside i s Jane Austen’s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book. The first sentence in this bo ok is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”. The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession.People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After reading this book, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.I couldn’t forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inherit ing his father’s possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way to become wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. JaneAusten told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century. In “Pride and Prejudice”, the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don’t have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married. In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some people’s mind.A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children’s marr iages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one’s marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can’t help thinking: can money determine everything?Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.。

《傲慢与偏见》英语读后感一"Pride and prejudice" this book in junior high school have touched. Just at that time only saw the emotional entanglement between the actor and actress, ups and downs mood and let people immersed in them, after a few years, through again, do not have a flavor.Bennet had five daughters were not married, and Mrs. Bennet is a neurotic vanity is dye-in-the-wood woman, will each daughter.many is her this life only event but never bother to discipline daughter's behavior, and Mr. Bennett is a family-centered old gentleman, but orgiastically wife and daughter's inappropriate behavior, prefer to hide into the library to seek calm. Jane Bennett is bennet's daughter, beautiful appearance, disposition gentle, quiet, Ellie was Bennett is bennet family second daughter, personality vivacious, intelligent and beauty and rig, The third daughter Mary looks not if other sisters well, therefore in character and knowledge on studying hard, but also caused her arrogant attitude; The Kitty ranked fourth personality buckish, with yao sister Lydia hottest loyal dancing, behavior often disrespect not know; Yao daughters vanity, pay attention to enjoyment, dancing and and army officers dou make fun is her sole purpose in life. One day the near their house moved to a rich single man bingley Charles. He is a personality temperate, personhood sincere not the nuances of the rich young man, in abanquet bingley but love on the bennet daughter Jane, and Jane Bennett mutual love, While bingley's good friend darcy · fee Bates William personality formal serious, mismanagement words often give a person arrogance arrogance impressed, unwittingly like work knuts the second daughter of house was Ellie, but because the Bennett a itself is not decent family make these two relationship by obstacle, Ellie was the beginning of arrogance darcy bias, the main thing is to describe their this relationship transformation process.《傲慢与偏见》英语读后感二Pride and Prejudice is a chefdoeuvre. But my first impression of this story was from screen. It's long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I don't remember which movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. It's pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to the characters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine, though I didn't think she's beautiful. But she's smart. However, I didn't pay much attention to the plot. I thought it's so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I haven't read the whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to my prejudice. In fact, I didn't understand the story at that time. I didn't know why it called Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didn't find where' s the prejudice. I thought it's normal, the way people treated each other in that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movie everthing was OK in my minds, except its length. Now, I think I have understood more about it. I'm a prejudiced person so I can't find where's wrong. I merely like to do the things I like. Everytime I meet somebody orsomething,my thinking about he or it all depends on my foregone experience and my mood of the time. I like it so just like it, if not so just not. I'm a person thinking by heart not by brain. What is worse, I actually didn't think it's wrong. I thought everyone is all like that.Everyone has his special way to cognize the world. So it's individuality, not prejudice. But I think something is wrong. Though everyone can judge in the way he likes, he can't ignore other ones. You can like what you like and hate what you hate, but you should be objective when you meet external world. I think it means that you should consider things roundly, not just partial. Individuality is different from prejudice. What is it? I need to think more.《傲慢与偏见》英语读后感三Love seems to be the perpetual theme all over the world. But actually what is love? For most girls in 20s, love may mean everything to them. They seek for love bravely no matter what difficulties they may face. In their eyes, love is pure or even holy. However, those are just an ideal situation, n real life; people tend to find a balance between love and property.Pride and prejudice is Austin’s great work. Through the discussion of the different marriages and love, the writer demonstrates her concept about love and marriage: love and marriage is closely associated with property and society, however, love and marriage can not only be decided by the property and social status. An ideal marriage should be based on mutual affection, respect and the same interest. She rejects the marriage based only on wealth.Different people have different ideas upon marriage. By the description and discussion of the four marriages in the novel, we can see that Austen fully expresses her views on love andmarriage. Only by appreciating the marriage founded on the basis of mutual understanding and true love, but also by satirizing the marriage founded on the basis of origin and desire. The marriage based on social position and money can’t bring happiness in life. Aimless marriage and love are unpractical.Everything goes wrong for poor couples. Marriage based on wealth is not a fault. At least, it can offer us a better condition of life. Property is not everything in the life but without it, we can do nothing. This is called reality. But if you only married for wealth, you sell your liberty. The rest of your life might be miserable, and your marriage will filled with endless bitterness.。

关于傲慢与偏见的英文读后感

关于傲慢与偏见的英文读后感篇一:傲慢与偏见英文读后感Impressions of Pride and PrejudiceI?ve read a book called Pride and Prejudice written by Jane Austen during this winter holidays. Jane Austen was unmarried all her life. She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up in a fortable environment with harmonious surroundings, so there?s not too many conflicts in her sight neither in her novel. In Pride and Prejudice she talked different ideas about love and marriage through different characters. The novel has told an interesting story: Mr. Bennet is an English gentleman with an estate in Hertfordshire. He has five unmarried daughters but no sons while his inheritance must be inherited by a male, so Mrs. Bennet has been keen to seek husband for her daughters with great enthusiasm. One day the Bennets had a new neighbor called Bingley who was a wealthy bachelor and followed be the target of Mrs. Bennet. At a ball Bingley fell in love with Jane Bennet who?s the oldest daughter of the Bennets. Bingley?s friend Darcy also came to the ball and struck the sights, many girls liked him while he thought all of them couldn?t suit his preference, including Elizabeth. Mr. Darcy always shows others a impressionof pride, having found this Elizabeth began to hate Mr. Darcy. Before long Darcy fell in love with Elizabeth Bennett(second oldest daughter in the Bennets) because of her lovely behavior, while Elizabeth is disgusted by his pride and has a prejudice about him. The official Wickham was weled by the villagers, and Elizabeth also took a shine to him. Wickham told Elizabeth that his father had been the steward of the Darcys. The old Darcy had regarded Wickham as his own son and showed more love to him than to Mr. Darcy. After the old Darcy died, the property should be inherited by Wickham was all deprived by Mr. Darcy, also was his pastorate. All this increased Eli?s prejudice about Mr. Darcy. At another ball Mr. Darcy invited Elizabeth to dance with him, but Eli refused him. Eli?s elder male cousin Mr. Collin came to Hertfordshire to inherit the Bennett’s property by rules, he wanted to marry with one of the Bennets. Having known thatJane was already engaged with Mr. Bingley, he asked Elizabeth to marry him but was seriously rejected. At last he proposed to Charllote who was Eli?s friend. Mr. Collins was good at flattering and he got the pastorate with the help of Lady Catherine. Once hisfamily was invited to Rosings Garden by Lady Catherine. Elizabeth also went there with Mr. Collin and Charllote. There she met Mr. Darcy who?s Lady Catherine?s nephew. Later in a garden, Sir William told Eli about Mr. Darcy?s latest act of dissuading Mr. Bingley?s marring Jane Bennet which caused Eli?s exceedingly anger. Then Mr. Darcy came to the Collins? and confessed his love for Elizabeth, of course he was rejected impolitely. Afterwards Mr. Darcy wrote a letter to Eli in order to remove her misunderstandings of him. Elizabeth?s uncle and aunt were also impressed by Mr. Darcy?s politeness. Gradually Eli?s prejudice of Mr. Darcy diappeared. Eventually they became couple. The writer Jane Austen disclosed mid-class young ladies? different ideas of marriage and love through describing the different ways in which the Bennet girls doing with their marriage problems ,and this undoubtedly shows the writer?s idea about love and marriage: it?s wrong to get married just for property, wealth and status while neither would it be without caring about those Austen just attached great significance to marriage through her novel by telling people that marriage shouldbe regarded carefully cause it is not a game you could just enjoy without prudent consideration. She also wanted to deliver information that marriage should be based on real love between the lovers. The female subject Elizabeth is a mid-class girl, and Darcy proposed to her regardless of the gap between them, but Elizabeth refused because of his pride had formed Eli?s prejudice. Cause Darcy?s pride was a suggest of status gap between he and Eli, he wouldn?t have the same thought with Eli and consequently the ideal marriage. But later Darcy?s doings especially his change of the prideful manner eliminated Eli?s misunderstandings and prejudice about him, and Eli accepted his proposal. Those two opposite attitudes reflect female?s pursue of independent personality and equality.I think Elizabeth has personality ethic which caused her independent idea about love and marriage and in consequence she earned a happy life. There?re also Eli?s sisters? love stories served as contrasts to the female subject?s ideal marriage, such as Charlotte and Collin?s life: they do had a luxury life, but there?s no real love between them and this kind of marriage issurely a tragedy of society.《傲慢与偏见》中描写了五种婚姻关系,有班奈特夫妇的轻率之爱,简和宾利的世俗之爱,伊丽莎白和达西的内涵之爱,丽迪亚和韦翰的肉欲之爱,柯林斯与篇二:傲慢与偏见读后感英文Reflection of Pride and PrejudiceI’ve read it during this semester. This book, written by Jane Austen, is published by China International Broadcasting Publishing House in 20XX and has 475 pages.Jane Austen is an English famous writer. Her positions focus on country females’ marriage and their life. She describes her apperceive to the world with her own special perspective and humor words. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote this novel, her sharp observation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The main idea is: Mr. Bennet has five daughters. With the daughters’grow older, finding husbands for their daughters bee Mrs. Bennet’s priority thing. Their family belongs to middle class. Mrs. Bennet is a very vulgar and power person. Their neighbor Charles Bingley is a single man who possesses lots of property. And Mrs. Bennet urges her husband to visit Bingley. In her mind, she has listed him as a son-in-law. At a ball, Mrs. Bennet tries her best to introduce her daughters to rich person actively. Bingley’s friend called Fitzwilliam Darcy, an imposing, wealthy, noble and dignified man. He bees a focus for many beautiful girls. Mrs. Bennet’s is very eager to introduce her daughters to middle and upper class people. Her behaviors are very ical, and she is like a clown for Mr. Darcy. He feels very disgust with Mrs. Bennet’s behaviors and also looks down upon her. But these girls find Darcy’s shortings soon. He takes up with Elisabeth; she is Mrs. Bennet’s second daughter. Because of many plex misunderstands they missed each other. Then, Elisabeth receives a letter from Darcy and they overe their prejudices to each other. At lastthey fall in love and Elisabeth’s sisters also find their true love. And the novel ends in a happy atmosphere. In the eighteenth century, the British Empire is in the peak period. But the British social’s influence spread the whole country. For example, people’s views about snobbishness, vanity and ideas on marriage. The condition of marriage is the man should have a good social position and the woman should have good dowry. So their bination is happy to their family. Everythingis based on money and social position during that time. In my opinion, it looks like marriage is a bination of money. But marital relationship is based on respect and affection but not money. The author opposes marry for money and emphasizes importance of marriage.Austen uses irony art permeates the whole novel and throughout the development of plot. On the other hand, the language description and the figures’ psychological activity are verypicturesque. “It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” The author uses humorous satire exaggerating technique, reflects Mrs. Bennet’s false and deceit. In one word, this book is an illustration of the society at that time.In this novel, the whole structure is very precise, the figures’characteristic are distinct and full of their own features. It shows this novel’s unique charming. On the other hand, it reflects the author’s artistic and ideological content. So it is worth reading. 本文版权归曼界森英书下载及英文小说共同所有篇三:英文傲慢与偏见读后感凡是有财产的单身汉,必定需要娶位太太,这已经成了一条举世公认的真理。

傲慢与偏见英语读后感(一)I have read some parts of this nover when I was about thirteen years old,but the book was really too thick for me to read over patiently. It’s a pity that I haven’t finished it till now.But fortunately, I have watched the movie “Pride and Predudice”directed by an American f ilm studio several months ago.The simple but pure plot, the wonderful song, the classical custume, the luxury ball, the scene full of amorous feelings from the British country, the beatiful and stubborn actress, all of these moved me deeply.Mr. Darcy, the actor of the nover,a nobleman from the uper-classes in England, because of this , he has an inborn superiority that he looks down at every person from the lower-classes .He don’t like neither their life style nor their way to think.Elizabeth, the actress of the nover,an obstinate, wise young girl from the lower-classes of the country. She dosen’t like anyone who is constumelious, she hates the spurs from the pride men. By these, you know, there’er lots of conflicts between them, but at last,Darcy and Elizabeth, the two different even opposite youngsters fall love .That’s very incredible. In fact,we are always pride and think something in our mind but not right,we assess the others only depend on theirbackground or their color of skin , we hide our true heart and preten d ,we dispise the others without any reason……But why don’t we ask ourselves in our heart or mind: what do we feel in fact? What do we need in fact? What do we hate and love in fact? Why not express our real feelings at once? Why not chase the happy we really want ?If we can go through the hindrances that set by ourselves,if we can express the true feelings we have and say it out loudly and clearly to somebody we want to tell with, if we can give up the contumely and spurns which block us to get long well wigh the others wo love,if we can live together harmony and sincere, if ……If that day really comes, the love will come too.傲慢与偏见英语读后感(二)Pride and Prejudice ", a novel a pleasure to behold, a beautiful and moving story. The article describes a number of daughters Bo Nate story. Ji-an eldest daughter, gentle kind-hearted, beautiful Keren, Bentley and rich kids at first sight, but at the crucial moment has brought a twist. Second daughter, Elizabeth, Qingli intelligent, ambitious, assertive, consistent with the property of the nobility million youth met Darcy. Can be as arrogant Darcy eccentric, Elizabeth for his prejudice are serious, they love but refuse to recognize the obvious, but also continue to hurt each other with words, but fortunately dispelled the last mistake, married lovers.Reading this novel, I have benefited greatly. In our people, there are many very modest, but there are some arrogant people. These arrogant people who sometimes annoying, they have eyes in the head long, others are dismissive. Indeed, the arrogance is a shortcoming in the environment to develop a character. Chinese children from an early age by their parents as holdingtypical "little emperors." If so has been from small to large, how could it not arrogant? So I think that we should not be arrogant people who have prejudices, but the more soul-searching myself, to see if they have not arrogant, after their own things to learn to no longer allow parents to worry about, tired. As the book said: "Heart of pride in everyone. As long as we have so a little bit of strength, they will feel especially great. But pride and vanity while the same meaning, but in real terms in different kinds of self-pride is a feeling, ,Vanity will need to involve other people overestimate their own, so people have a pride without vanity, which is justifiable.。

Pride and PrejudicePride and Prejudice: A Love Journey Across Pride and PrejudiceJane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is a classic that depicts the complexity of human nature and the twists and turns of love. It takes us into 19th century British society and how people faced the challenges of love, marriage and social status. In this novel, pride and prejudice become an unbridgeable gap between the two main characters, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth, but it is their process of overcoming these obstacles that shows us the power of true love.Mr. Darcy is a rich man of noble birth. He is handsome and rich, but his arrogant character makes him estranged from others. At the ball, he met Elizabeth, the beautiful and intelligent second daughter quickly attracted his attention. However, Elizabeth's family was not rich, and her mother worried about her daughters' marriages all day, trying to marry them into wealthy families. This makes Elizabeth on Darcy prejudice, she thinks Darcy is a proud, inhuman person. However, as the story progresses, Elizabeth begins to realize that Darcy is not who she thought he was. In spite of his haughty appearance, his heart is kind and deep. He treats his friends sincerely, treats his family with care, and even when Elizabeth is in trouble, he does not hesitate to lend a helping hand. These moves make Elizabeth start to re-examine Darcy, and she gradually finds that her prejudices have been wrong.Meanwhile, Elizabeth faced overtures from other suitors. Among them, Mr. Bingley is a handsome and rich man, but he is married to a loathsome relative in Elizabeth's family. This incident made Elizabeth more determined to pursue true love, and she was not willing to sacrifice her happiness for money and status. Finally, after a series of twists and turns, Elizabeth and Darcy finally came together. Although their love road is tortuous, it is these setbacks and hardships that make them cherish each other more. They overcome the obstacles of pride and prejudice and bravely move towards happiness.Pride and Prejudice is not only a novel depicting love, but also a work reflecting social reality. It reveals the importance of marriage and status in British society at that time, as well as people's desire for wealth and status. However, in this novel, Jane Austen tells us that true happiness does not lie in status and wealth, but in finding a soul mate with whom we can share the ups and downs of life.Pride and Prejudice is a classic to be savoured over and over again. It shows us the power of true love and the difficulty of overcoming pride and prejudice. But as long as we face our own prejudice and arrogance bravely, we will be able to find the happiness that belongs to us.。

傲慢与偏见英文读后感精彩7篇傲慢与偏见英文版读后感篇一傲慢与偏见英文版读后感It is universally acknowledged that the eternal theme of Jane Austen’s novels is the choice people make for marriage partners, so is in Pride and Prejudice. Mrs. Bonnet had no other wish if her five daughters could get married as soon as possible with someone wealthy. At a dancing ball, it is obvious that Mr. Bingley could not help falling in love at the first sight with Miss Jane because of her stunning beauty. Mrs. Benne was so excited that she could not hold her manner and declared publicly she would have a daughter married soon, which frightened Mr. Bingley away. Mr. Collins, a distance nephew of Mr. Bennet, came to ask a marriage to one of his cousins before Mrs. Bennet was able to get clear why Mr. Bingley left suddenly. After receiving the hint from Mrs. Bennet that Jane already had an admirer, Mr. Collins turned to Elizabeth without wasting a minute and to Miss Charlotte Lucas two days later after refused by Elizabeth. It was difficult for Mrs. Bennet to recover herself as a result of the“deadly stupid” decision made by Elizabeth until she got the news that Lydia finally married Mr. Wickham, though the marriage was built on the basis of ten thousand pounds. Mr. Darcy offered the money and did everything departing from his will just because he loved Elizabeth so much. ()He could not hide his feelings any more and showed his affection to Elizabeth at last, who, because of a series of misunderstandings towards him, rejected him without hesitation. This plot is the climax of the novel as the prejudice of Elizabeth to Mr. Darcy was exposed and removed since then. And the bination of the two young couples, Jane and Bingley, Elizabeth and Darcy came at last.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇二the novel opens with the famous line, "it is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."。

Also, alternates in stories happen around Elizabeth’s happy or unhappy marriages to reveal the author’s hope living in true love at that era. The heroine Elizabeth first saw the male protagonist Darcy is not pleasing to her ey es, plus Darcy’s pride character causes Elizabeth to have prejudice against him. Darcy is unpopular arrogant man, even in the surrounding filled up cold relationship. For him, pride may be rational, however; prejudice may be heartless, both of which impact is unavoidable. Between two people there are often quarries and misunderstandingsconcerning Darcy’s pride and Elizabeth’s prejudice at the start. But after the events of clarification, they develop a little affection gradually. Darcy represents the “pride”,Elizabeth represents “prejudice”。

傲慢与偏见英语书评(5篇)第一篇:傲慢与偏见英语书评Pride and PrejudicePride and Prejudice is a novel by Jane Austin, first published in 1813.The story follows the main character Elizabeth Bennet as she deals with issues of manners, upbringing, morality, education and marriage in the society of the landed gentry of early 19th-century England. In the Pride and Prejudice written by Austin, the heroine Elizabeth deeply loved a person named Darcy.Darcy wanted to marry with Elizabeth, but was refused.Because Darcy's pride is actually a reflection of differences in status.Elizabeth's two different attitudes to Darcy actually reflects the female to personality independent and equal rights pursue. In addition, Austin has also written several of Elizabeth's sisters and his girlfriend's marriages which used to compare with the heroine's ideal marriage.Such a marriage is actually social tragedy hiding under the gorgeous coat.In my view, different from most of the books, Pride and Prejudice is full of women' thinkings, worldview and style of life, rather than form a male's point of view the world. And it fully reflects the style of the times.Austin dose well in shaping the distinctive characters in everyday ordinary things. At the same time, Austin's language is discretion. This innovation makes her work of art has its own characteristics, which I eager to share.第二篇:傲慢与偏见英语书评Pride and PrejudiceIn the Pride and Prejudice written by Austin, the heroine Elizabeth deeply loved by the rich and powerful person named Darcy was born in a small landlord family.Regardless of the statusand wealth gap,Darcy wanted to marry with Elizabeth, but was refused.Elizabeth on Darcy's misunderstandings and prejudices is one reason, but mainly she hates Darcy's pride.Because Darcy's pride is actually a reflection of differences in status. As long as there is the pride, it is impossible to have the same feelings between Darcy and Elizabeth, also not impossible to have the ideal ter, Elizabeth personally observes Darcy's manners and a series of actions, especially Darcy has changed and he is not arrogant any more.So Elizabeth eliminates the misunderstandings and prejudices on Darcy , which concludes the great marriage with Darcy.Elizabeth's two different attitudes to Darcy actually reflects the female to personality independent and equal rights pursue. This is the progressive significance of the characters of Elizabeth. In addition, Austin has also written several of Elizabeth's sisters and his girlfriend's marriages which used to compare with the heroine's ideal marriage. For instance,Charlotte and Collins are living with a comfortable life after marriage, but there is no lovebetween them.Such a marriage is actually social tragedy hiding under the gorgeous coat.Although Pride and Prejudice which the theme is narrow , dull and lack of plot twists and turns of rich is good at depicting the characters' psychological and social reality of height.Different from most of the books, Pride and Prejudice is full of women' thinkings, worldview and style of life, rather than form a male's point of view the world. And it fully reflects the style of the times.Austin dose well in shaping the distinctive characters in everyday ordinary things. Not only the worthy of recognition characters like Elizabeth and Darcy is written in real and moving, but also the sarcastic characters like Wickham and Collins do.At the same time, Austin's language isdiscretion. She is fastidious in the dialogue art humorously with the satire and contrasts the characteristics of the character in the humorous language. This innovation makes her work of art has its own characteristics.第三篇:傲慢与偏见书评A Book Review of Pride and PrejudiceWritten by Jane Austen and set at the background of leisurely countryside life in 18th and19th century, Pride and Prejudice is a classical English novel which flows in the river of human wisdom.Though it was written by an advanced female pioneer, inevitably, its defects can’t be concealedIt was the first time to compose a n ovel in female’s angle at that era and that enriched English literature in a fresh way.The elaborate description of local customs and practices also facilitates its vividness and variety. Both its plot and language are fine designed and corrected repetitively. The novel draws a detailed picture of four romantic love stories and eventually has a happy ending though they might be misunderstood by pride, prejudice, reserve or statues. It is acknowledged commonly that this novel is the start of a new writing style. The most controversial issue about this book is the artificial writing style and it was criticized by many writers and academicians. The plain progress, narrow theme and the limitation of the countryside life are the main shortcomings of Jane Austen’s work s.As a result, Pride and Prejudice is hard to avoid being regarded as this kind of book. But one cannot deny that this is definitely a typical and great work during that period and even in human history.

There is no doubt that Pride and Prejudice is well-known, the book that is written by Jane Austen has an influence on the culture。

As far as I’m concerned ,the ending of the fiction is wonderful,Elizabeth and Darcy won their happiness, leading a colourful life 。

First of all, let’s learn about the author who is Jane Austen 。

She was unmarried all her life。

She was born in a mid-class family and was brought up in a fortable environment with harmonious surroundings,so there’s not too many conflicts in her sight neither in her novel。

In Pride and Prejudice she talked different ideas about love and marriage through different characters。

Jane Austen disclosed mid-class young ladies’different ideas of marriage and love through describing the different ways in which the Bennet girls doing with their marriage problems, and this undoubtedly shows the writer’s idea about love and marriage: it’s wrong to get married just for property, wealth and status while neither would it be without caring about those elements。

傲慢与偏见英文读后感傲慢与偏见英文读后感(通用14篇)傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇1“Pride and prejudice” is the famous British writer Jane Austen masterpiece, the works in daily life for material, the romantic and reality love story.Works of vivid reflects the late eighteenth to well into the nineteenth century in the conservative and block state of the British town life and ways of the world. Its social graffiti novel at that time if not only attracts the general reader, real to this day, still give the reader a unique art enjoyment.First of all, from story to see, Elizabeth resourcefulness, have courage, these have vision, have very strong self-respect, and be good at thinking. Just then a an unmarried ladies the lady of speaking, this is valuable. And also it is this quality, just make her in love have independent initiative, and led to her and happy family of darcy. In my opinion, Elizabeth is worthy of praise. In the way of the pursuit of love, be sure to a firm belief, not for money, fame, wealth, or any other cause carelessly decided to, want to hold to find true love. If the other party to some of the defect is himself can't stand, but also what can't change it, you should give up the resolute choice; Of course should also to cherish each other, not because of some of the others words, they change their decision, happiness to yourself to the business. This is the book want to municate to the world is very precious words, is also to the heart of the pursuit of love chicken soup.Reading this book, I be a lifetime earnings, enjoy the spiritual baptism.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇2Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Jane is simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn't have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century. The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen's favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book. The first sentence in this book is impressive. After reading this book, I know the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man.I couldn't forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father's possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their fortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way to bee wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. Jane Austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century. In “Pride and Prejudice”, the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don't have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married. In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything” is still rooted in some people's mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children's marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one's marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can't help thinking: can money determine everything?Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflectsbig problems. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇3Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy. The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the Bennet. In a ball, Elisabeth gave such a bad impression on Darcy's first pride that she refused Darcy's first proposal. Darcy was so surprised by Elisabeth's refusal that he loved Elisabeth more deeply. And Elisabeth's antipathy(厌恶,憎恨) made Darcy realize his shortings. He was not angry about Elisabeth's censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. During Elisabeth's travel in Darcy's manor(庄园). Darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitude. When one of Elisabeth's sisters ran away with Wickham, Darcy helped Elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the Bennet. So many changes in Darcy eliminated(消除) Elisabeth's prejudice. At last it end with their marriage.Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative你(保守派)and blocking Englandtown. It reflected the author's view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. In fact Darcy's pride manifested(证明) the gap (间隙,差距)between their statuses (地位). Since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between Elisabeth and Darcy. From the different attitudes from Darcy's two proposals, it reflected the feminine(女性) pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive(先进的) character from the image of Elisabeth.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇4The man treat GRE at event in one's life with punishing, Demonstrate different attitudes to the love question of the marriage of young girl of the family origin of middle class of villages and towns, Thus reflected authors oneself;s marriage view: It is wrong to get married for the property, money and position; Get married and does not consider that above-mentioned factors are unwise too . So, she objects to getting married for money , objecting to regarding the marriage as a trifling matter . She emphasizes the importance of the ideal marriage , and regard men and women;s emotion as the foundation stone which concludes the ideal marriage .The woman protagonist in the book Elizabeth es from the little landlord;s family, reaches the west to have deep love for for the rich and powerful people sons and younger brothers. Reach the disparity of ignoring family status and wealth of the west, propose to her, but is refused. Elizabeth;s misunderstanding and prejudice to him are a reason, but a main one is the arrogance that she dislikes him. Reach the thes of the west in fact status; the reflections of difference, exist this kind arrogant, Not having mon thoughts and feelings between he and Elizabeth, the marriagethat can not have lofty ideals . Elizabeth watches conducting oneself in society and a series of behavior of reaching the west personally afterwards, See he change the proud conceited expressions of passing by, dispel misunderstanding and prejudice to him, Thus concluded the happy marriage with him. 傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇5After a term’s reading, I finished ten more books, however, what impressed me most is Jane Austen and her two classical books. In China maybe we all know LiQingzhao, a great female poet whose poetry are full of the emotions from the bottom of her heart. However, in England the figure maybe is my most admirable authoress Miss Austen who can never have too many respects from the common people just like me. After read her two masterpieces of books Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, I feel so proud of being female to see a world-famous authoress using her independent thoughts, humor words to show us the relationship between the so-called superiors and the lower-class.At that time, neither in the east nor in the west, it is not so easy for a woman to become a great figure with literary reputation. In China Li made it, while in England Miss Austen with her unique characteristic also realized her dream after a long struggle with the temporal points. It seems that all in Jane’s life, she made a decision between sense and sensibility; once there was an old saying “Affection is desirable, money is absolutely indispensable.” She resolutely chose her true love but not a splendid life or a comfortable home, what a pity she can not marry the one she did not really love even a beloved one, in her short life, she finished six famous books with her heart and soulbut never married and stayed single for ever. When reading Pride and Prejudice, I wondered why the oldest sister in the Bennet family also was named Jane, is there any possibility Jane Bennet is the soul of Miss Austen; and Miss Austen expected to realize all the pity which can not come true in her real life, so Jane Bennet was pictured as prefect as possible to be the best of the five sisters. It’s a classical book with abundant description of everyone’s inner heart, especially the changes in their hearts. It can never deserve too many analyses for it was so wonderfully worked. One can say anything but ordinary to show our respects and admiration. The man said“I do not have that talent of conversing easily with people I have never met before.” The woman said“We all don’t know him.” The book is full of the man’s pride and the woman’s prejudice in its lines and words. From his pride we can see his confidence and persistence; whereas from his pride we can’t see his kindness and gentleness which he hid behind the surface. From her prejudice we can see her firmness and treason; whereas from her prejudice we can’t see her expectation and worries which she hid behind the surface. So it gave us a beginning of the story of pride and prejudice and led us to Miss Austen’s emotion world. So wonderful a book, so classical a story, so prefect a happy ending made it never a problem whether his pride or her prejudice counted, because of love, all can be neglected. In the book once the proud Mr Dracy talked about the traits an accomplished woman must have, it needed a thorough knowledge of music, singing, dancing, drawing and modernlanguages, and besides this, a certain something in her manner of walking, in her voice and her behaviour. What’s more, something more solid, the improvement of her mind by wide reading. It could never be too strict for a common woman to follow.About the attitudes to the marriage, Charles Dickens in the Oliver Twist also showed us the opinions of that day, he said if a man has ambitions to enter politics, then he marries a woman with a stain on her name, over though it’s not her fault, it might spoil his chances of success in his life. ()The society is cruel, people might use the knowledge of his wife’s doubtful birth against him, and against his children, too. And one day, he might begin to regret his marriage. But love is so great that nothing can conquer it, and in the Pride and Prejudice we see the type of classical love, if we say in the realization we are so sorry to see the over more interest lead us to forget what love is, what a pity when love is not so pure as it should be, what a pity when love is used as a medium of exchange. To my happiness the books inflected Miss Austen’s marriage view, it is wrong to get married for property, money and states. She objects to getting married for money and regarding the marriage as a trifling matter. She also points that the man and the woman’s emotion is the foundation of an ideal marriage. After reading it, I feel that I just want to turn Elizabeth who is ordinary but with special beauty, brave but with a little stubborn, though she is not a prefect woman our eyes, she does be a woman with prefect disadvantages. To the hero Mr Dracy, I feel that I just want to marry a gentleman like Mr Dracy who always puts his love deep in his heart, till the day he made surethat Elizabeth was the one he wanted to spend the rest time of the live. Under the handsome and gentle; proud and serious face, there was a kind heart full of love.Pride is just like a piece of beautiful clothes which is luxurious and untouchable. However, the expense of pride is loneliness. Prejudice is just like the clouds floating in the sky with its freedom. However, the expense of prejudice is lost. What I learnt from the books and Jane Austen is deeply printed in my mind and I should never forget Elizabeth and Mr Dracy’s prefect love story, they usefully influenced each other. His mind might have been softened and his manners improved by her sociability, and she might have learnt from his greater judgment and knowledge of the world. Just like a fairy tale, the price and princess have a happy live together, which I am looking forward.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇6Pride and Prejudice was written by Jane author was born in 1775 in Hampshireand passed away in 1817 at the age of fourty-three. She comes from a pastors family. She lives in the countryside of England most of her life, so she knows the local customs very well. Most of her works are from the lives she is familiar with.Pride and Prejudice is mainly about the love story betweenDarcy and Elizabeth. Elizabeth is the second daughter of Bennetts family, the heroine of the book. She is intelligent, beautiful, intelligent, and eager for true love. Because of the prejudice against Darcy, she easily refused Darcys proposal, which led to many twists and turns in their relationship. At last she got rid of prejudice.Darcy is a young man with rich family and noble title. He was noble in appearance, flexible in mind and kind in heart, and he was very kind even to his enemy, Weiken. However, he is considered arrogant because of his bad association with strangers. After accepting Elizabeths criticism modestly, he won Elizabeths love. This let me know that a person cant be arrogant because of his familys wealth, cant guess others at will, and has prejudice against others.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇8Elizabeth resourcefulness, have courage, visionary, have very strong self-respect, and be good at thinking. It is because of this quality, just make her have independent opinion on the emotional problems, and prompted her and the darcy position content family.Books as the name implies, pride and prejudice, and in the book is male leading the obstacle of the love, but in the real society is also a munication barriers between people, but also in the right attitude towards themselves, treat things in a stumbling block. In real life, we will also often because of his unilateral idea but myself with others, so we have to overe the "pride and prejudice", take the initiative to understand others. Each person actually are easy to be driven by their own subjective impression, and therefore easy to incorrect ment on other people, thuscaused the misunderstanding between each other. A man give first impression is can affect many things, but not must not change, want to have a more in-depth understanding, in order to have a more objective point argument, just like the heroine of the story of darcy's view, is because understanding just change. The book reaction of social reality is so hit the nail on the head, she is about marriage, has nothing to do with love.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇9Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. And Elisabeth's antipathy made Darcy realize his shortings. He was not angry about Elisabeth's censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude.During Elisabeth's travel in Darcy's manor. So many changes in Darcy eliminated Elisabeth's prejudice. At last it end with their marriage.Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative你and blocking England town. It reflected the author's view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. In fact Darcy's pride manifested the gapbetween their statuses. Since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between Elisabeth and Darcy. From the different attitudes from Darcy's two proposals, it reflected the feminine pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive character from the image of Elisabeth.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇10Smelling the faint ink fragrance in his nose, he turned the pages in his hand and read the lines in front of him quietly. Pride and Prejudice is a book that is often heard by others and feels good. I bought it home and realized it carefully. I didnt think it was good at the beginning. After reading it completely, I learned some philosophy and wisdom of life from it.Pride and prejudice, a novel by the British writer Austin, shows some of the daily life and rural scenery of the middle class in England, and opens a new page in the history of English novels.Elizabeth in the pursuit of love on the road, has been adhering to their original beliefs, not by the then door-to-door and wealth status of their own footsteps, adhere to the fate of their own destiny. She took control of her destiny and finally got a good marriage. Her character and spirit, all let me deeply admire. In addition, knowing that she misunderstood Darcy, she admitted her mistake and love to Darcy. She knew that the moral character that mistakes can change is what we should learn.Seeing the happy ending of this twists and turns fate, I am deeply gratified and look forward to it silently. I hope that all people can have the integration of rationality and sensibility, and truly manage their own happy life independently.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇11Austin's "pride and prejudice", as she puts it, is thin on two inches of ivory carving, it is the masterpiece of Austin. Reflect themarriage problems of novel is a, the author works in the most is her favorite works.Works of vivid reflects the late 18th century to the early 19th century in a conservative and occlusion of the British town life and the world. Its social graffiti like novels not only attract the readers at that time, solid to today, still give the reader a unique artistic enjoyment. She was the first to realistically portray ordinary grace novelist in daily ordinary life, plays an essential role in English novel. The whole works, not least no winding ups and downs of the plot, but it is this simple, delicate and attracted us deeply. Austin, short life is spent in the country, almost all around may be simple, halcyon atmosphere nurtured her cool temperament. Not because there is no abundant experience, for the analysis of things for her ability to doubt.People read the book pride and prejudice "will be fine for her, keen emotion. When writing "pride and prejudice", she is just a teenage girl, isn't this a gift? She does very little contact with the outside world, but thought, imagination, the existence of all this is enough.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇12Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. Even the five daughters in Bennet family are very different. Janeis simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others. Elizabeth is a clever girl who always has her own opinion. Mary likes reading classic books. (Actually she is a pedant.) Kitty doesn’t have her own opinion but likes to follow her sister, Lydia. Lydia is a girl who follows exotic things, handsome man, and is somehow a little profligate. When I read the book, I can always find the same personalities in the society now. That is why I think this book is indeed the representative of the society in Britain in the 18th century. The family of gentleman in the countryside is Jane Austen’s favourite topic. But this little topic can reflect big problems. It concludes the stratum situation and economic relationships in Britain in her century. You can find these from the very beginning of this book. The first sentence in this book is impressive. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father’s possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way to becomewealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. Jane Austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century. In “Pride and Prejudi ce”, the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don’t have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get married.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇13Pride and Prejudice is a famous classic written by Jane Austen.I was attracted by the characters and plots of the film adapted from the novel.Elizabeth is the heroine of the story. When she meets Darcy, a handsome, rich but arrogant man, on the party for the first time, she is dissatisfied with the proud manner of Darcy. Darcy looks down on those who are in a lower social class, including Elizabeth. However, after getting to know the courage, independence and confidence of Elizabeth, he almost falls in love with her. But Elizabeth believes the lies of Wickham which causes her great prejudice to Darcy. She rejects Darcy’s propose marriage to protect her self-respect. Finally, Darcy goes away because he couldn’t tolerate Elizabeth’s sisters’ vulgar manners. He writes a long letter to explain his thoughts and love to Elizabeth. After reading it, Elizabeth feels guilty about misjudging Darcy and regrets turning him down. As time goes away, Darcy gradually improves his pride and keeps helping Elizabeth’s family out from troubles. At last, Elizabeth removes the prejudice to Darcy and accepts his propose marriage. From the film I learn that we can’t judge a man im mediately。

Advices to women by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice
Jane Austen, one of the most famous British writers left six excellent books to the world. Pride and Prejudice is considered the most well-known among them. It was first published in 1813, about 200 years ago, but Jane’s ideas and opinions about love and marriage in this book are never out of date, they are still advices to today’s women. Let’s share some of them.
1.Leave him in no doubt if you really love him.In this story, Jane, the eldest
daughter from Bennet family fell in love with Mr. Bingley. But she was too reserved and scared of other people’s comments. She never showed her emotion. Charlotte, the friend of family noticed that, but her suggestion was not adopted. Mr. Bingley, who was not sure about Jane’s feelings to him, left Netherfield in his sisters and Mr. Darcy’s persuasion. This leave almost led to a lifelong regret to both of them. Although they got married at last, we have to say this fortune does not come to every girl in real life.
2.First impressions often deceive you. Mr. Darcy and Mr. Wickham gave totally
different first impressions to Lizzy. Darcy was proud and arrogant, and Wickham was amiable and friendly. But the facts turned out their moral qualities were just on the contrary to the first impressions. So, never judge too soon. Especially for the girls who are in the Association of Appearance (so called Waimao Xiehui). Of course, the principle works for men as well.
3.Be yourself. Lizzy was a girl with strong insights, independent opinions and open
character. She expressed her thoughts to anyone naturally and gracefully, never pleased others for their special positions and wealth. What she said and did gave Mr. Darcy a clear profile of her, which was her unique attraction to him and made him abandon his discontents to her family even though she refused his proposal impolitely. Sometimes love grows from zero. When Lizzy found herself in love with Mr. Darcy, she sincerely and directly told him about her feelings. So, being yourself at any time is very important to show your characters, in which your Mr. Right is interested most. You never know when and where he is watching.
4.Never be a mother like Mrs. Bennet. She was a weak-understanding, snobbish
and gossipy woman. She thought money was the most important thing for marriage. Her foolish indulgence to Lydia’s flirting with the officers almost ruined the family, and she never blamed herself at all! She was a disaster for daughters. For men, Jane Austen gave her advice in Chapter 42, try to avoid marrying a woman just for her youth and beauty, and think more about her mind and characters, because she might be the mother of your children.
5.Do anything rather than marry without affection. Jane’s conception to
affection was not only attraction by appearance, but respect and understanding in spirit. To marry with affection was not easy in Jane’s time. She insisted in this principle by being single all the life. She fought with her time and her fate, eventually yielded to them. But the unfortunate love did not depress her. She still believed in love and put the belief into her books. Her perspective and understanding of love and marriage were very rational by observing as outsider, but she never lost her romance in her heart. Jane Austen might leave the world with great pity, but she was so generous to the ladies in her books. In this book, Jane and Lizzy both wished marry for love. Finally they did. And more than their wishes, their husbands were very rich. Maybe it was Jane Austen’s beautiful wish to all women after her, God bless the girls who pursue true love.。
