论古典文学标题的翻译
论古典文学标题（书名）的翻译在古典文学翻译中，遇到的第一个棘手的问题就是标题的翻译。
在翻译《醉翁亭记》和《聊斋志异·考城隍》的标题的时候，上网查了很多资料，发现翻译的名称都不尽相同。
后来自己就古典文学标题的翻译查了大量的资料，发现标题的翻译不是自己想的那么简单。
标题的翻译有着基本的翻译策略与方法。
标题（书名）是作者对整篇文章的高度概括。
就标题（书名）本身而言，就应该具备几个特点：概括性，深度和吸引性。
在标题翻译的时候也该注意保留原标题（书名）本身的特点。
常见的翻译标题的方法有拼音法，直译法和意译法，不同的方法翻译出来的效果不一。
翻译标题（书名）的时候还要考虑作者的创作背景。
所以标题（书名）的翻译，并不是找几个与中文相近的英语单词进行排列组合，而是在综合考虑之后进行翻译。
在翻译标题（书名）的时候，第一步就是要深入了解作者的生平，创作背景和意图。
如翻译《醉翁亭记》的时候,就有“The Roadside Hut of the Old Drunkard”“The Old Drunkard’s Arbour”“The Pavilion of the Drunken Old Man”几个版本。
我自己翻译的是“The Story of the Old Drunkard”,当时翻译的时候觉得”story”的含义可以等同于汉语中的“记”。
后来经过老师的讲解，知道用”story”翻译是不合适的。
联系《醉翁亭记》的创作背景就知道，这篇文章并不是说醉翁亭的故事，而是借醉翁亭抒发作者的感情，所以不能简单的将“story”等同于“记”的翻译。
既然英语里找不到一个合适的词与“记”等同，那么处理方式就是忽略不译。
所以，标题的翻译应该考虑到作者的创作背景，而我在翻译的时候，忽略了这一点。
针对不同文章或书籍的内容，我们在翻译标题或是书名的时候，应该采取不同的翻译方法。
比如说《周易》的翻译，我觉得就可以直接用拼音“Zhou Yi”因为这本书是讲中国古代占卜的书籍，里面有很多中国特有文化的表达，比如说“阴阳”。

2.书名的翻译
（1）书名译名讲求简短易记，文字优美，吸引读 者，多采用汉语四字成语或四字格。如： All's Well That Ends Well 《终成眷属》 As You Like It 《皆大欢喜》 Gone with the Wind 《乱世佳人》 For Whom the Bell Tolls 《战地钟声》
这段话表达了人生短暂如梦，而宇宙 万古如斯，恰好表达了第一次世界大 战之后西方青年迷惘的一代的心境： “为追求智慧的心愿所驱使，我决心 藉酒自娱，寻欢作乐。我想，也许这 是人生在世的短暂岁月中最好的生活 方式。”因此，The Sun Also Rises 改译成《太阳照样升起》比较合适。
（3）英语的小说习惯于用主人公的名 字作为书名。 如狄更斯的代表作 David Copperfield 译为《大卫· 科波菲尔 》，夏洛蒂· 勃 朗特的Jane Eyre译为 《简爱》等等。

摘 要 ： 探 究 文 学 作品 名 的 命 名 形 式 和 特 征 的基 础 上 ， 助 社 会 符 号 学 的 翻 译 标 准 ． 讨 文 学 作 品 名 翻 译 的 标 在 借 探
准， 即译者在理解篇章 的基础上 ， 译名 既要 给译 文读者传达原 名所含信 息 ， 又要尽 可能地 再现原 文作者的立题 意 图
及 其 对读 者 所 产 生 的 效 果 。 文 章 对 文 学作 品 名 翻译 中 出现 的 种 种 问 题 与 困 难 进 行 了研 究 与 分 析 ， 后 提 出文 学 作 最
