I. Punctuate the following passages and use

capitals where necessary.

(10%)

My most memorable experience in primary school happened in Ms. Chen ’s geography class. She gave us a quiz that I hadn ’t studied for. When I saw the ten questions, I knew I was dead. I didn ’t know a single answer. I decided to guess. So I sat there at my desk, pen in hand, and took a stab at giving my answers: A, or B, or C, or D. The next week Ms. Chen returned our paper, with a big “Excellent!” down on mine. That meant only one thing – I had got the highest mark in the class. And I had. I had guessed nine of the ten correctly. Later, Ms. Chen said to me that this just went to prove what I could do if I would only study!

11-15分：便条内容完整，思想表达清楚，行文通顺流畅，连贯性好，基本上无语言错误。

6-10分：便条内容比较完整，思想表达较清楚，语言比较通顺，连贯性较好，有少量语言错误。

5分以下：有些地方思想表达不够清楚，连贯性差，语言错误多。

V.Write a composition of about 200 words on the

following topic. (30%)

200词的短文，满分为30分。

26－30分：文章内容切题，思想表达清楚，行文通顺流畅，连贯性好，论证严密，论据充分，基本上无语言错误。

16-25分：文章内容切题，思想表达清楚，语言比较通顺，连贯性较好，有极少量语言错误。

10-15分：文章内容切题尚能表达中心思想，但说理不够清楚，文字连贯不够好，有少量语言错误。

6-9分：基本切题，有些地方思想表达不够清楚，连贯性差，语言错误多。

5分以下：内容跑题。
