Alternate Name: SMEAH, Red-Al, Vitride. Some practical advantages of Red-Al are that it does not ignite when exposed to moist air or O2, has greater solubility in aromatic solvents and ethers, and reactions can be carried out at higher temperatures (up to 200◦C).
