●First step: Warming up
This quiz is intended to find out how much general knowledge your students already have about Canada.

a. Show a picture and ask: What is “The True North”?
----“The True North” is the train that goes across Canada/the cross-Canada train.
b. Fast reading: Ask students to read through the text fast and find the places mentioned in the
text on the map and draw the route of the two girls travelling across Canada.
