Lego NXT Project
The Team are to design and programmer a Robot.
Robot task requirements:
Follow a black line (path) on a white surface. The robot are also, to be able to detect obstacles that can block the path and move around them and regain the path after the obstacle. The robot is also to have the ability to handle small to midsize gaps in the path (can be a separate program module).
Project limitations.
The Robot is to be built out of Lego Mindstorms NTX components. The built is going to contain a number of constrains that the team is to follow. To practice the team in decision,test planning and evaluations processes. The team have a 6500 Lego € to by parts for. And there will be a limit to the available building parts in every set. Over spending building budget or the introduction of external parts from other teams or from home, will result in a fail for the team in the built project.
The team is to be able to defend and explain their decisions of the selection of a part alternatively to another part and the usage of the budget.
Total budget for parts: 6500 Lego €
Project presentation/Demo.
At the end of the course the teams are to present the robot code and demonstrate the robots and how it work. To detriment the Wining TEAM of this yeas students.
