5. satisfy vt. (a). to please sb. by giving them sth. they want or need 使感到满意

e.g. He tried to satisfy her by promising that he would buy her a new car.

It is impossible to satisfy everyone. 不可能使每个人多满意的。

e.g. I just want to satisfy my curiosity--- why did he do it? 满

e.g. He has little regard for the feelings of others.

e.g. Please give my best regards to your family.

If you go to Beijing, please give my best regards to your parents.

vt. to think of sth. or sb. 认为

regard sb./sth. as + n.

e.g. I regard the movie as one of the worst I’ve ever seen.
