4.Mowgli Learns to Swim (Lesson 2)
【教材分析】
<Mowgli Learns to Swim>是原典英语教材入门级(上)故事中的第四个故事,主要讲述Mowgli遇到一只叫Shere Khan的老虎,而他不能游过小河逃跑,他意识到他必须要学习游泳了。

在他的动物小伙伴Baloo,Bagheera,Hathi等的帮助下,Mowgli发现游泳好像并没有那么艰难的故事。

故事人物除了Mowgli,其他都是动物,故事角色性格鲜明,情节富有童趣,而故事音频中的语音、语调也富有感染力。

【学情分析】
本故事的教学对象是二年级学生,经过三个月的原典英语学习,学生已学习了原典英语教材入门级上中的前三个故事,并基本掌握故事内容,能对文本进行指读,和对文本进行演绎。

学生对于原典英语的学习方法,学习模式都有一定的了解。

同时,学生也养成了良好的原典英语学习习惯,每天坚持至少30分钟的聆听学习,其中包括至少10分钟的“精听”学习和20分钟的“泛听”学习。

在大量的聆听学习作用下,学生的语音、语调,有了很大提升,绝大多数学生对原典英语学习保持着较浓厚的兴趣。

【教学内容】

【教学过程】
Step1:Warming up
1.Greetings:Hello. How are you?
2.Sing a song : Walking, walking
3.Free talk: I can _____. Can you____?
4.Review picture 1 to picture 2 by blackboard
5.Show two groups
Step2:Presentation
1 . Lead-in
(1)Q: The tiger is getting close to them? What can they do? (抽生回答)
(2) Listen to the whole lesson.
(3) Q: What can you hear? (抽生回答)
2 . Learn picture3-picture7
P3-P4: (1) Listen to the audio and fill the blank
Bagheera and Baloo ______. (jump into the river)
The water is _____. (cold)
(2)Teach the phrase: Jump into the river. (action)
The water is cold.(touch the cold water)
(3)Q: Do you see Mowgli? Where’s Mowgli?
Can they just go away and leave Mowgli alone?
(4)Listen to the audio and teach the word: shout
(No shouting in the pubic areas.)

P5: (1)Look at the picture, listen to the audio and answer the question: Will Mowgli jump into the river? Why Mowgli so scared?
P6: (1)Listen and answer: Mowgli can’t swim. But the tiger is getting closer and closer. What can they do? (“Jump onto my back.”)
