2. conversation n.谈话 have conversation with sb. 和…沟通
Eg:他们用德语沟通了一会儿。
They had a short conversation in German.
2. What were that man and that woman doing? A. They were talking loudly. B. They were walking around the theatre. C. They were watching the play quietly.
2. I had a very good seat. 我的座位很好。
(1 )had为have的过去式,延续last week所要求的时态。
(2 )a very good seat=a very good place指视线无遮 挡,所处位置非常好,而非椅子本身材料好。

eg:听到有人喊叫,她转身看发生了什么事。 Hearing someone calling, she turned round and saw what happened. 那辆汽车绕过房子,一会儿就不见了。 The car turned round the house and disappeared in a while. 含turn的短语: turn down 拒绝、调小(音量) turn up 出现、调大(音量) turn in 交还、上交 turn to 向…救助 turn on 打开(煤气、自来水、点灯等)---turn off关闭

7. rudely adv. 无礼地,粗鲁地---rude adj.粗鲁的 Eg: 别对我这么粗鲁。
Don’t treat me so rudely.
In the end, I could not bear it.
put up with… 忍受 I got divorced. I could not put up with him. 忍受的极限在加大: put up with=bear=stand bear n.熊 white bear bear hug :热情(热烈)的拥抱 give sb. a bear hug
4. I got very angry. 我很生气。---主系表结构
get angry 生气 get 连系动词+形容词、v-ing、v.-ed
eg: get old变老 get hot变热 get hungry感到饥饿
*常见的连系动词: become、feel、sound、turn、smell、taste等 连系动词无被动语态,后面不能跟副词作表语。
Eg: 这个大礼堂可容纳500名学生。 The big hall can seat 500 students.
区分:sit 不及物动词 sit down seat 及物动词 seat sb.
5. loudly adv. 大声地---loud adj. 大声的 Eg: 大笑 laugh loudly 他们大声地谈话。 6. angrily adv. 生气地--- angry adj. 生气的(cross) Eg: 我非常生气。
他们正在谈话。
They are having a conversation.
区分: conversation. 比较正式一些
talk 可以正式,也可以私人的 Eg:Let‘s have a talk. 我们谈一谈。
3. theatre n.剧场,戏剧 go to the theatre 去看戏剧 区分: cinema: 电影院=movie theatre
私人谈话 去看戏 生气 转过身 注意… 最后 不关…的事
4. Key points:
1. Last week I went to the theatre. 上星期我去看戏。 在theatre,cinema,picture等名词前一定要加定 冠词the。
如: go to the theatre/play去看戏; go to the cinema/movies去看电影(英/美) go to the pictures/films去看电影 be at the theatre/cinema在戏院看戏/在电影院看电影
eg:春天到来的时候,天气变得越来越暖和。 When spring comes, it gets warmer and warmer. 那听起来很有趣。 That sounds interesting.

turn round 英式;turn around 美式 “转身、回转、绕过”

区分: in the end 经过一系列的变化之后最终某事才发生; at last 经过克服困难,最终达到某种目的; finally按照一定的顺序进行到最后,强调次序。
9. business cn. 事、生意--businesses a business man :生意人 do business: 做生意 on business:出差 Eg:我去天津出差了。 I went to Tianjin on business. 这是我的私事。 It‘s my business. 不关你的事。 It's none of your business.
Discussion: Do you like seeing the film? Where can you see the film? Tell me about the film you like best? Who is your favourite film star? Would you like to be an actor\actress?
go to the cinema= see a film 去看电影
Eg:我喜欢看戏剧。 I enjoy the theatre. 这是我在电影院里看的第一部电影。
This was the first movie I ever saw in the theatre.
4. seat
1). n.座位、席位=place have a good seat/place 有个好座位 take a seat 坐下来, 就坐 Eg: 我在后座,托尼开车。 I was in the back seat and Tony was driving. 不要把脚放在座位上。 Don’t put your feet on the seat! 2). v. 使…坐下、安排…就座
3 . I did not enjoy it.
我却无法欣赏。
enjoy v. 喜爱 1)enjoy + n. enjoy your life 享受生活 enjoy the meal 享用一顿饭 2) enjoy + pron. enjoy oneself 玩得开心、玩得愉快 = have a good time = have a wonderful time 3)enjoy + doing eg. I enjoy fishing.我喜欢钓鱼 eg. I enjoy making friends.我喜欢交朋友。

pay much attention :多加注意 pay a little attention :稍加注意 pay no attention :不用注意
8. bear( bore, borne) v. 容忍
bear=stand v. 容忍 Eg: 最后,我忍不住了。
1. private adj.私人的 private life 私生活
a private school 私立学校
private 反义词---public adj. 公众的,公开的
public school 公立学校
public letter 公开信 public place 公共场所 Eg: 玛丽有一架私人飞机。 Mary has a private jet.
8. attention n. 注意
Eg: 请注意! Attention ,please.
他们却毫不理会。
They did not pay any attention.
pay attention to : 对…注意 Eg: 她尽量注意听他说话。
She tried to pay attention to what he was saying.
eg:他做过多种不同的工作,最后当了邮递员。 He tried many different jobs, in the end he became a postman.
2)bear(--bore—borne) =stand 容忍、忍受、忍耐、承受
eg: 这样的痛苦几乎使他受不了。 The pain was almost more than he could bear. 你怎么能吃得下那样的东西? How can you bear to eat that food?
