1．Let’ s make a cake.

make过去式made

make：v. 做；制造；创造。例如：

History is made by the people. 历史是人民创造的。

The car is made in Japan. 这辆车是日本制造的。

与make搭配的短语

be made in 在……制造

be made of 由……制造（看得见原材料）

be made from 由……制造（看不见原材料）

be made up of 由……组成

make a decision 下决心

2．Daming’s uncle likes reading and he reads lots of books and magazines.

大明的叔叔喜欢读书，他读了大量的书和杂志。

like doing sth. 一般指习惯性喜欢做某事。例如：

I like watching TV. 我喜欢看电视。

like to do sth. 一般指具体的喜欢做某事。例如：

I like to swim this afternoon. 今天下午我想去游泳。

lots of＝a lot of 大量的，修饰可数名词与不可数名词。
