Copying Events about Hwang

Hwang woo-suk, a famous biological scientists of South Korea,was revealed a shocking event on the papers copying by the end of 2005. The University of Seoul set up an investigation committee in order to survey out the whole fact. But to our surprise, most of his scientific research achievements are false except for the world's first cloning dog succed by Hwang woo-suk and his team of scientific research.Then, the south Korean government decided to cancel Hwang woo-suk’s title of "South Korea supreme scientist", and fired all his official position.

Hwang woo-suk was born in a poor family,in order to make a living,his mother feed cattle for his neighbors. Hwang woo-suk became interested in cattle at that time, he works hard to get a degree. He even sold the small apartment to build a test farm in the country, so that he can cultivate cattle using artificial insemination method.In the following ten years, Hwang woo-suk obtained much achievements with his research team,such as he tested out the tube cow as his first success in 1993,fostered out the super cow in 1995,fostered out cells cloned cow for the first time all over the world in 1999.

Hwang's outstanding achievements won him highly-speaking pride in academic,he become the national hero of Korea, the public are proud of him. But not long later, there was some doubt voice towards him. On November 13, 2005,his partner announced to stop the cooperation with him, the reason is hwang woo-suk and his team are suspected to gain human eggs in an immoral way. Soon Hwang woo-suk admitted the news.Then a series of copying events about Hwang were exposed.

Throughout the whole events, we were shocked on Hwang’s cheating; on the other hand we’d like to find out the reason why he cheated. Maybe a “rapid success” and the heavy pressure are the root of this kind of problem. So we need to free the scientists, so that they can make valuable achievements to benefit the public.
