教师每次闪显五张动物做某事的图片,请某一组学生,凭记忆分别用一句话描述动物在做的事情。
例如:图片上描绘的是一只熊猫在爬树,学生则说:The panda isclimbing the tree.如果图片上描绘的是两只或以上的熊猫,学生则说:The pandas areclimbing the trees.学生必需凭记忆正确地说出五张图片上所描绘的动物在做的事情。

教材分析本单元分为三个板块:Part A Part B Part C,本单元学习的主题是询问并回答某人是否正在做某事,以及谈论在一些公共场所的行为规范。
通过本单元的学习,同学们能够正确运用和理解现在进行时态以及正确理解和谈论行为规范。
学情分析五年级两个班的学生,虽然已经接触了两年英语,有一定的英语基础,但是两极分化情况较为严重,有的学生甚至连最基本的26个字母的书写都有问题,背单词是软肋。
由于教材难度加大,学生的学习兴趣难以保持,因此要特别注意英语学习兴趣的继续保持,本学期应注重转化后进生,尤其是五一班的特困生相对较多,要好好利用四轮驱动的优势,因材施教,分层教学,保持并提高学生对英语学习的兴趣。
