Unit 10 I'm going to be a basketball player. 描述将来的打算Textbook Notes(教材笔记)be going to 的用法be going to+地名或动词原形,表示将要去某地或做某事,是一般将来时态的结构之一。

用法:表示将要发生的事或打算、计划、决定要做的事情。

常与表示将来的时间状语连用。

如:tomorrow, next week/year/month等。

be 动词有三种形式,即am is are 将随着主语的变化而变化。

其否定形式只能在be后面加not。

变一般疑问句将be提前即可。

“There be …”句型的将来时应是there is/are going to be…或there will be…表示某地/某时将有……一般表示职业的名词多于该职业的活动或工作内容、工作场所有关,故大部分表示职业的名词都在词尾加“or”或构成“er”构成。

其意义与词根----名词或动词有关。

但注意有些词也是表示职业的名词。

如cook煮,厨师,pilot驾驶(飞行);飞行员。

Grow的用法grow实义动词,意为“生长,成长,种植,栽培,养”如:we have grown a lot of flowers this summer .今年夏天我们种了许多花。

grower是名词,“种植人,栽培人”。

如:fruit-grower种植果树的人。

grow 作为系动词,意为“渐渐变得;渐渐……起来”(后接作表语的形容词、副词或名词),常用短语:grow up成长;成年;成熟grow-up成人的,成熟的,成年人grow into… 长成……不定代词和不定副词构成及用法构成:some(any,on,every)+one/body/thing构成合成词,被称为不定代词,在句中作主语或宾语。

如:someone 某人又如:Everyone has friends and parents.人人都有父母和朋友。

some(any,no,every)+where 构成合成词,被称为不定副词在句中作状语。

用法:somewhere, someone (somebody) something(anyone),anything,与some,any 在句中的用法类似。

即some 及some 的合成词用于肯定句。

any 及any 的合成词用于问句或否定句。

不定代词做主语,谓语动词用单数。

修饰不定代词和不定副词的词放在其后,如:something interesting 有趣的事Practice的用法名词,意为实践,练习,不可数。

动词,意为实习,练习,训练,后接名词,代词或动名词,不能接不定式,类似的动词还有:enjoy(喜欢,享受)、finish(完成)、feel like(想要)、have fun(玩得高兴)、spend(花费)、be busy(忙)等。

Time的用法Time名词,意为时间、时候、时刻不可数,但作为次数、时候、倍数之意,却是可数名词。

与之构成的短语很多,比较常见的有:Have(no) time to do sth.有(没有)时间做某事All the time一直At the same time同时Have a good time过得愉快Every time每次In time及时At times有时候On time按时Part-time兼职的Full-time全职的,全日制的Show的用法动词,意为给…看,常用短语:show sb. sth./show sth. to sb,把某物给某人看;show sb. around+地名,带领某人参观某地。

动词,意为表现,显露,表示。

Show great interest in=be interested in对…感兴趣。

名词,意为演出,节目,展览。

On show陈列,展览。

Get的用法Get是动词,意为得到,获得,买到,取得,收到,找到。

常见短语:Get to到达;get on (well) with与…相处(融洽);get up起床;get on上(车、船、飞机等);get off下车;get…from…从…得到…;从…收到…如:get a letter from my pen pal=receive/have a letter from my pen pal=hear from my pen pal收到笔友的信Over的用法副词,意为结束,完了,常与be动词连用。

与动词连用,意为越过,越出。

介词,表示(数量、程度)在…以上;超过,相当于more than。

介词,在…的正上方或在垂直上方。

反义词为under。

常见短语搭配Jump over跳过all over到处,全部结束all over the world遍及全世界come over过来look over(常用于医生给病人)检查另外,on也可表示在…上,往往指在物体的表面上,并接触。

Above只表示上方或位置高出,其反义词为below。

Keep的用法Keep作为保持、保留之意,后常接下列形式:Keep+形容词相当于stay+形容词,意为保持…。

如:keep healthy保持健康Keep sb./sth.+形容词,意为使某人或某物保持某种状态。

如:keep the classroom clean保持教室清洁Keep sb. doing sth.意为使某人一直做某事。

如:don’t keep your mother waiting for you.别让你妈妈一直等你。

Keep doing sth.继续做某事。

resolution意为决心,坚决,果断,不可数,但意为决定,决议,决心要做某事,却可数。

其动词形式为resolve,决心,决定。

决定做某事可用:make a resolution to do sth.或resolve to do sth.或decide to do sth.Fit的用法动词,使合适,使合身,使符合之意。

如:this coat doesn’t fit me.这件上衣我穿不合身。

形容词,意为适合的,适当的,常用短语:be fit for适合于…;合乎…;与…相称。

形容词,意为强健的,健康的,相当于healthy.Exercise的用法用作动词,表示锻炼,运动用作名词,意为运动,体育锻炼是不可数名词;意为体操;练习等,可数。

如:do eye exercises做眼保健操。

一般将来时的表示形式及用法Be going to+动词原形,表示计划、计算做某事或有明显迹象要发生的事。

这时不能用will+动词原形表示。

Will+动词原形,will意为想要,愿意。

表示说话人相信或希望要发生的事,可以指遥远的将来。

而be going to表示事情很快就要发生。

Be+动词的ing形式,即现在进行时也可表将来。

用来描述一个已经计划好将要发生的动作或事情。

尤其是不延续性动词常用进行时表将来。

如:where are you going?你要去哪里?时间状语从句或条件状语从句中的一般现在时也表将来。

平常我们所说的主将从现在,就是指主指主句将来时,条件状语从句和时间状语从句用一般现在时表将来。
