老人与海故事梗概英文

老人与海故事梗概英文The Old Man and the Sea is the story of an epic struggle between an old, seasoned fisherman and the greatest catch of his life. For eighty-four days, Santiago, an aged Cuban fisherman, has set out to sea and returned empty-handed. So conspicuously unlucky is he that the parents of his young devoted apprentice and friend, Manolin, have forced the boy to leave the old man in order to fish in a more prosperous boat. Nevertheless, the boy continues to care for the old man upon his return each night. He helps the old man tote his gear to his ramshackle hut, secures food for him, and discusses the latest developments in American baseball, especially the trials of the old man’s hero, Joe DiMaggio. Santiago is confidentthat his unproductive streak will soon come to an end, and he resolves to sail out farther than usual the following day.On the eighty-fifth day of his unlucky streak, Santiago does as promised, sailing his skiff far beyond the island’s shallow coastal waters and venturing into the Gulf Stream. He prepares his lines and drops them. At noon, a big fish, which he knows is a marlin, takes the bait that Santiago has placed one hundred fathoms deep in the waters. The old man expertly hooks the fish, but he cannot pull it in. Instead, the fish begins to pull the boat.Unable to tie the line fast to the boat for fear the fish would snap a taut line, the old man bears the strain of the line with his shoulders, back, and hands, ready to give slack should the marlin make a run. The fish pulls theboat all through the day, through the night, through another day, and through another night. It swims steadily northwest until at last it tires and swims east with the current. The entire time, Santiago endures constant pain from the fishing line. Whenever the fish lunges, leaps, or makes a dash for freedom, the cord cuts him badly. Although wounded and weary, the old man feels a deep empathy and admiration for the marlin, his brother in suffering, strength, and resolve. On the third day the fish tires, and Santiago, sleep-deprived, aching, and nearly delirious, manages to pull the marlin in close enough to kill it with a harpoon thrust. Dead beside the skiff, the marlin is the largest Santiago has ever seen. He lashes it to his boat, raises the small mast, and sets sail for home. While Santiago is excited bythe price that the marlin will bring at market, he is more concerned that the people who will eat the fish are unworthy of its greatness. As Santiago sails on with the fish, the marlin’s blood leaves a trail in the water and attracts sharks. The first to attack is a great mako shark, which Santiago manages to slay with the harpoon. In the struggle, the old man loses the harpoon and lengths of valuable rope, which leaves him vulnerable to other shark attacks. The old man fights off the successive vicious predators as best he can, stabbing at them with a crude spear he makes by lashing a knife to an oar, and even clubbing them with the boat’s tiller. Although he kills several sharks, more and more appear, and by the time night falls, Santiago’s continued fight against the scavengers is useless. They devour the marlin’s precious meat, leaving only skeleton, head, and tail. Santiago chastises himself for going “out too far,” and for sacrificing his great and worthy opponent. He arrives home before daybreak, stumbles back to his shack, and sleeps very deeply. The next morning, a crowd of amazed fishermen gathers around the skeletal carcass of the fish, which is still lashed to the boat. Knowing nothing of the old man’s struggle, tourists at a nearby café observe the remains of the giant marlin and mistake it for a shark. Manolin, who has been worried sick over the old man’s absence, is moved to tears when he finds Santiago safe in his bed. The boy fetches the old man some coffee and the daily papers with the baseball scores, and watches him sleep. When the old man wakes, the two agree to fish as partners once more. Theold man returns to sleep and dreams his usual dream of lions at play on the beaches of Africa.。

英语书评《老人与海》English response:"The Old Man and the Sea" by Ernest Hemingway is a novella that tells the story of an aging Cuban fisherman named Santiago who struggles to catch a giant marlin. The story is a parable about the human spirit and the indomitable will to overcome adversity.Hemingway's writing in "The Old Man and the Sea" is simple and direct, but it is also lyrical and evocative. He uses short, declarative sentences to create a sense of immediacy and urgency. The descriptions of the sea and the marlin are vivid and powerful, and they convey the sense of awe and wonder that Santiago feels in the face of nature's grandeur. The characters in "The Old Man and the Sea" are complex and well-developed. Santiago is a flawed but sympathetic character. He is proud and determined, but he is alsohumble and aware of his own limitations. The marlin is a symbol of both Santiago's strength and his mortality. It is a powerful creature that Santiago must overcome in order to prove his worth, but it is also a beautiful and noble creature that Santiago respects. The themes of "The Old Man and the Sea" are universal and timeless. The story is about the struggle against adversity, the importance of perseverance, and the power of the human spirit. It is a story that has resonated with readers for generations, and it is sure to continue to do so for many years to come.中文回答:欧内斯特·海明威的《老人与海》是一部中篇小说,讲述了一位名叫圣地亚哥的老古巴渔夫捕捞一条巨型马林鱼的故事。

老人与海中英文对照版原著The Old Man and the SeaIt was the third day of the new moon and the old man had gone eighty-four days now without taking a fish. In the first forty days a boy had been with him. But after forty days without a fish the boy's parents had told him that the old man was now definitely unlucky. The old man had told the boy that he was a strange old man and that it was better for him to go home to his family in the fishing village. The old man was not angry. The old man was thin and gaunt with deep wrinkles in the back of his neck. The brown blotches of the benevolent skin cancer the sun brings from its reflection on the tropic sea were on his cheeks. The blotches ran well down the sides of his face and his hands had the deep-creased scars from handling heavy fish on the cords. But none of these scars were fresh. They were as old as erosions in a fishless desert.Everything about him was old except his eyes and they were the same color as the sea and were cheerful and undefeated."He was an old man who fished alone in a skiff in the Gulf Stream and he had gone eighty-four days now without taking a fish. In the first forty days a boy had been with him. But after forty days without a fish the boy's parents had told him that the old man was now definitely unlucky. The old man had told the boy that he was a strange old man and that it was better for him to go home to his family in the fishing village. The old man was not angry."The old man had taught the boy to fish and the boy loved him. The old man had taught the boy how to bait a hook and how to haul a fish into the skiff. He had taught him how to gaff a big fish and how to tie a half hitch and a square knot. He had taught him how to bait a tuna hook and how to hook the sardines to use for bait. He had taught him all that he knew and the boy had been a very good pupil. He had a friendly, pleasant face and a good appetite and he laughed a lot. The old man's eyes had often smiled at the boy's cheerfulness. The old man was very fond of the boy.Every day the old man went out alone in his small skiff to fish in the Gulf Stream. He was not afraid of sharks, for there were many of them out there and he had a weapon for them as well as for anything else that might attack. The harpoon was his weapon. He could throw the heavy, shafted harpoon very straight and with great force and the steel point, the size of a big man's finger, was sharp. But he seldom had to use the harpoon. The old man had a simple rope noose to toss over the shark's head so that he could pull it in and stab it. His knife was sharp and he knew the bones and the soft weak places to stab. But he was never without his harpoon. It was his hope and his strength. The old man would have liked to take the boy with him. But it was not fair to bring the boy. The boy had his own family to help and he would not have been much help to the old man. The old man did not have a family. He had sold his nets and his boat long ago. His smile was pleasant and the boy liked him. But the old man knew that the boy had to get out on his own and that the best way for a man to learn was by himself. The old man was not lonely. He had his thoughts and his dreams. But after the forty days without a fish his thoughts were not of what he had done or what he had been, but only of losing his luck. He did not think of the past when he was strong. He did not even think of the boy. He thought only of the few hours in the day when he was in his boat and the hot sun was on his shoulders and he felt the pull of the small tug of the line at the bait. Sometimes he remembered the big fish he had hooked when he was young and that he had let go. He had been sure they were his and it was his scorn of them that made him let the great fish go. That was the saddest thing he had ever seen. The old man loved to remember that.As night fell he remembered the big marlin that he had hooked when he was twenty-six and that had pulled his skiff far out to sea. That had been a memorable fishing day and he remembered the thrill of the chase and the loss of the fish. He remembered the red-eyed sea turtle that he had killed to use for bait. He remembered the big black dolphin that he had harpooned when he was twenty-three. He had even harpooned a huge, old black marlin that had been as long as his skiff. But this was a fish that had no fear of death and that had fought for hours and hours until he had been exhausted and had barely been able to pull it in over the side. He was very fond of remembering that day. It was the memory of the fish and the loss of the fish that kept him going now.As the sun set he remembered the time when he hooked the fish and they had pulled his skiff far out to sea. The fish had jumped and fought and he had fought back with all his skill and for a long time they had gone back and forth. He had stayed with him night and day for three days and on the fourth day the fish had been exhausted and he had pulled him in. That had been his biggest fish and he had shows the boy how to kill a fish properly and quickly. It was a big fish to bring in with only hand-fishing tackle and a gaff. And that had been the saddest day of his life, the day he had killed the fish. He had gone out on the ocean that day to find the biggest fish of his life and he had found him. But he had killed the fish which was thesaddest thing he had ever done. Now, as the sun went down, the old man looked out over the sea that had never failed him and his heart was heavy. He knew the boy was gone and the fish would come again. But he knew too that now the fish would come very far out and that he must go far out to get them. He had never gone that far out before.。

the old man and the sea

the old man and the sea

+ The Old Man and the Sea tells the story of a battle between an aging,
experienced fisherman, Santiago, and a large marlin. The story opens with Santiago having gone 84 days without catching a fish, and now being seen as "salao",[a] the worst form of unluckiness. He is so unlucky that his young apprentice, Manolin, has been forbidden by his parents to sail with him and has been told instead to fish with successful fishermen. The boy visits Santiago's shack each night, hauling his fishing gear, preparing food, talking about American baseball and his favorite player, Joe DiMaggio. Santiago tells Manolin that on the next day, he will venture far out into the Gulf Stream, north of Cuba in the Straits of Florida to fish, confident that his unlucky streak is near its end. + On the eighty-fifth day of his unlucky streak, Santiago takes his skiff into the Gulf Stream, sets his lines and, by noon, has his bait taken by a big fish that he is sure is a marlin. Unable to haul in the great marlin, Santiago is instead pulled by the marlin, and two days and nights pass with Santiago holding onto the line. Though wounded by the struggle and in pain, Santiago expresses a compassionate appreciation for his adversary, often referring to him as a brother. He also determines that, because of the fish's great dignity, no one shall deserve to eat the marlin.

《TheOldManandtheSea》英文读后感[大全五篇]第一篇:《The Old Man and the Sea》英文读后感The Old Man and the Sea was written by an American writer named Ernest Hemingway. It has been translated into tens of languages, and the writer was so proud of his work.Santiago, the hero of the story, had gone eighty-four days without taking a fish back.At first, a boy named Manolion had been with him, but Santiago couldn’t catch even one fish. The boy had gone at his par ents’ orders in a lucky boat which caught three good fish the first week, and the couple thought that it was definitely and finally bad to let their boy stay with the old fisherman. On Santiago’s eighty-fifth day of fishing, he went out alone, leaving the smell of the land behind and rowing out into the clean early morning smell of ocean. To his surprise, he caught a tuna which he had never seen before and it was hard to believe that the tuna was bigger than his ter, the blood from the tuna left a trail for all sharks as wide as a highway, so fighting against sharks was unavoidable. The result was that sharks ate up all the meat of the tuna and Santiago only brought the tuna skeleton back.He was so tired that he slept deeply as soon as he got home, dreaming of lions. In this story, Santiago was an old and poor widow though he was good at fishing and had so much valuable experience. He only lived on fishing all his life.At long last, he just brought the skeleton back, you may think such a fisherman should be a loser, but this result didn’t mean failing. On the contrary, Hemingway used the skeleton which was the pillar of spirit to strengthen the meaning of the old man’s life.Santiago was described as a perfect person whonever gave up.The boy named Manolion appeared in thebeginning and at the end.Even during Santiago’s voyage, he always came to the poor old man’s mind.He was the only person who cared Santiago sincerely, trust Santiago absolutely, and the young boy wanted to be an inheritor of Santiago’s career.Hemingway not only told us the experience of fishing should be spreaded from generation to generation, but also expected us to admire, to learn from and to carry on the spirit of Santiago. The appearance of Manilion was not by chance, which was arranged by Hemingway.During Santiago’s long voyage, how much he wished the boy could have been with him to drive his loneliness away.Youth is the symbol of energy and hope.Even an old man can be young inside.Lions appeared several times in Santiago’s dreams for they were living in his heart, which showed the spirit of antiago would never be low.The coming of the sharks could not be avoided. They can be thought as attack which can swallow your success and happiness. The story tells me to face the problems happened in my life with a heart as wide as ocean.Though the old man was lonely, he was a traveler who walked on the road of realizing his ideals. But he was not alone at the moment, for his will was so firm. The Old Man and the Sea has won the Nobel Prize at last, which is a comfort to the writer.第二篇:英文读后感篇一:老人与海英文读后感this year summer vacation, i read the american well-known writer hemingway's novel “ old person and sea ”.i extremely admire in the novel representative works. The novel profoundly exposed the society contradiction before the French Revolution, intensely attacks the aristocratic social class is dissolute and cruel, and sincerely sympathizes with the depressed classes. The novel also described many magnificent scenes like the revolt people attacked Bastille and so on,which displayed people's great strength. The novel has portrayed many different people.Doctor Manette is honest and kind but suffers the persecution actually,Lucie is beautiful and gentle,Charles is graceful and noble,Lorry is upright and honest,Sydney is semblance of indifferent, innermost feelings of warm, unconventional but also selfless and lofty,Miss pross is straightforward and loyal,Evremonde brothers are cruel and sinister……The com plex hatred is hard to solve, the cruel revenge has made more hatreds, loves rebirth in the hell edge, but take the life as the price. As an outstanding writer,in Dickens's work, the language skill is essential. Each kind of rhetoric technique, like the analogy, the exaggeration, the contrast, the humorous, and the taunt are handled skillfully, and the artistry of the work is also delivered the peak.“A tale of two cities” has its difference with the general historical novel, its character and the main plot are all fictionalizes. With the broad real background of the French Revolution, the author take the fictional character Doctor Manette's experience as the main clue, interweaves the unjust charge, love and revenge three independences but also incident cross-correlation stories together, the plot is criss-crossed,and the clue is complex. The author use insert narrates, foreshadowing, upholstery and so manytechniques, causes the structure integrity and strictness, the plot winding anxious and rich of theatrical nature,it displayed the remarkable artistic skill.the style “A tale of two cities” is solemnity and melancholy, fills indignantion, but lacks the humor of the early works.篇三:飘英文读后感Scarlett , a very personality figures, the two mans she love ,neither does she know about. To her, I was compelled to admire, admire her strong and brave, admire her to lay down in the environment, farm workers previously suffered education, admire her to disregard the community to create their own expression of the cause. She is in the whole story, all a person full of fighting will full of vitality.I appreciated most , it is this “ Tomorrow is another day of hers.”.promising forever, full of fighting will , will never give up, never desperate.I think I'm moved by her.So, whenever I meet difficulty, the mood is not good, I will tell oneself : “ Tomorrow is another day.” 'Gone with the Wind' is absolutely a good book that is worth sampling repeatedly, the characters are graceful , the plot rises and falls, exciting boldly and unconstrainedly, though the subjective factor because of the author among them , the appraisal on U.S.A.'s Civil War is not objective and overall, but as to angle of literature, this one fine piece of writing generation definitely absolutely, worth visiting.Title: The Little princeAuthor: Antoine de St-ExuperyMain Characters: The little prince, the pilot, the rose, the fox, the snake, etc.Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940.It’s theworld-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little prince. As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little prince is not very complex.“I”,the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612.The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids. On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd.Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.篇四:小王子英文读后感Main Characters: The little prince, the pilot, the rose, the fox, the snake, etc.Despite I've not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I've review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940.It's the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little prince. As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little prince is not very complex.“I”,the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612.The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet.Inthat case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids. On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd.Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.Traveling on the earth, the little prince, who sees a garden of five-thousand roses, is overcome with astonishment and sadness, as he considers his rose is unique in the universe before. At that time a fox appears. The fox, who tell the little prince about the meaning of the word “tame”,becomes his new friend. At the time to say farewell, the fox makes him know that his rose is unique because she is his rose and tamed by him. From that the little prince begins to treasure friendship and be responsible to his rose.At the anniversary day of his descent of the earth, rejecting the pilot's advice, he goes back to his own planet by bite of a snake.“It's too far.I c an not carry this body with me.It's too heavy.” he said.He tells his friend, the pilot, he must be responsible for his rose, so he has to go back.At the end the author doesn't tell us the ending directly.Maybe it's more significant for us to imagine, and for more, think over. One of the important characters is the rose.Growing on the planet, she is very beautiful, but her coquetry and vanity suffer the little prince a lot.In spite of they love each other, he soon becomes unhappy. On the time of his departure, he just knows she certainly loves him.The character of the little prince actually represents the children, and their native thoughts and deeds. On the contrary, the inhabitants on the other planets, such as the king, the businessman and the conceited man, they also reflect the defects in the grown-up's world.Thereal theme of this fairy-tale with a little sadness, I guess, is the consequence of pure love and friendship in our lives, but not others “matters of consequence” of the grown-ups.Unbelievable, this little book moved me a lot.I seldom think about the true meaning of love and life before.Well, now I can say, with my short sixteen-year's life experience, it's like the stars in the sky that lit my heart. The little prince is not only an ordinary fairy-tale for children, but also for grown-ups, and our teenagers.Nevertheless, when I read this book, I feel a little sad –about ourselves, whom are losing more and more innocence.篇五:傲慢与偏见英文读后感The feeling of 《pride And 介绍老人与海片段英语作文

介绍老人与海片段英语作文

介绍老人与海片段英语作文The Old Man and the Sea is a novella written by the American author Ernest Hemingway and published in 1951 It tells the story of an aging Cuban fisherman who has gone 84 days without catching a fish and is considered the best example of Hemingway's spare minimalist style It is also seen as one of Hemingway's most accessible works and is frequently studied in American high school and college literature classesThe story centers around the character of Santiago an old Cuban fisherman who has had an extended run of bad luck he has not caught a fish for 84 days His young apprentice Manolin has been forced by his parents to fish with a more successful boat but the boy continues to support the old man and bring him food and bait As the story opens the old man heads out alone in his small skiff determined to end his bad luckAfter a long and arduous battle Santiago hooks a giant marlin He is able to kill the fish and lash it to the side of his boat But on the long journey home his great prize is attacked by sharks and most of themeat is stripped from the marlin's carcass By the time Santiago reaches the shore there is little left of the great fish he had struggled so hard to landThroughout the story Hemingway uses the old man's battle with the marlin as a metaphor for the struggle of life The story explores themes of bravery dignity and the indomitable human spirit in the face of overwhelming odds The old man's determination and refusal to give up in the face of his bad luck and the destruction of his prize reflect the resilience of the human conditionOne of the most iconic scenes in the novella is the description of the old man's struggle with the giant marlin This passage highlights Hemingway's spare yet evocative prose style and his ability to create a sense of drama and tension The old man has hooked the marlin and has been dragged out to sea by the powerful fish He must use all of his strength and skill to land the catchAs the sun rose the old man could see the fish and he picked up his harpoon "The fish is my friend too" he said aloud He put the harpoon down and took hold of the line so that it went through his leather gloved hands The fish pulled the boat steadily and the old man was wet with sweat but he was happy He had killed everything that had ever attacked him and his kind He could see the fish now steadily coming nearer and he pushed the skiff along with his bodyand arms He was sure he could get up to the fish and kill him with one blow of the harpoon and end everythingSuddenly the fish made a great lurch and the line went out swiftly The old man was sure he could hold him but he did not know the fish had turned and was coming at him He tried to turn the boat but the fish came too quickly The fish rammed the skiff and the old man was thrown back against the bow The fish jumped in the air and then fell on the boat smashing it to splinters The old man went down with the boat but he was lying calmly with the skiff under him and he was looking at the fish "I am still with you" he said "I am still with you"This vivid and dramatic scene captures the intensity of the old man's struggle with the marlin and his refusal to give up even in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds The language is spare and economical yet powerfully evocative Hemingway's use of precise details and his focus on the physical actions of the characters create a palpable sense of tension and drama The old man's calm determination in the face of disaster reflects the larger themes of the story and his resilience in the face of life's strugglesAnother key scene that exemplifies Hemingway's style is the old man's return to shore with the remnants of the marlin This passage highlights the author's ability to convey a sense of melancholy and loss while maintaining a restrained and unsentimental toneWhen the land was in sight the old man saw the boy waiting for him He started to row towards him but the sharks hit the fish and he could only see the backbone and the tail Now there was only a point of the tail sticking up a little while the rest had been bitten off The old man had to push the carcass over to balance the skiff It was heavier than when he had brought it in The boy was there waiting for himAs the old man approached the shore the boy could see that something was wrong He knew that the old man had been victorious in his battle with the great fish but that the sharks had attacked and destroyed his prize The boy's reaction to seeing the ravaged remains of the marlin reflects the larger themes of the story the triumph of the human spirit in the face of adversity and the bittersweet nature of life's victoriesIn conclusion The Old Man and the Sea is a powerful and moving story that showcases Hemingway's distinctive style and his ability to use spare and economical language to convey profound themes The story's depiction of the old man's struggle with the marlin and his ultimate defeat at the hands of the sharks serves as a metaphor for the human condition and the resilience required to face life's challenges with dignity and courage Hemingway's restrained yetevocative prose style creates a sense of drama and tension that draws the reader into the story and leaves a lasting impression。

For 84 days, the old fisherm an Santiag o has caught nothing. Alone, Impover ished, and facing his own mortali ty.
As the sun goes down, the marlin continues on in the same direction, and Santiago loses sight of land altogether. Santiago says, "Fish,...I love you and respect you very much. But I will kill you dead before this day ends"
“Anyone can be a fisherman in May.”
Literally, it refers to the ease of fishing in May. Meaning in autumn weather is harsher and it is not so easy to fish unless you have a good ability. In may the water is warmer and all fish are swimming around.
He says, "Come on....Make another turn. Just smell The marlin nibbles around the hook for some time, them. Aren't they lovely? Eat them good now and aloud, refusing to take the bait fully. Santiago speaks then isthe the fish tuna.into Hard accepting and cold and lovely. as if to there cajole the bait. Don't be shy fish. Eat them" .
Every evening, though, when Santiago again returns emptyhanded, Manolin helps carry home the old man's equipment, keeps him company, and brings him food.
On the morning of the 85th day, Santiago sets out before dawn on a three-day odyssey that takes him far out to sea.
Santiago sees a man-of-war bird overhead and notices that the bird has spied something in the water. The old man follows near the bird, and drops his own lines into the area, hoping to capture the fish the bird has seen.
Within an hour, a mako shark attacks the marlin, tearing away a great hunk of its flesh and mutilating Santiago's prize. Santiago fights the mako, enduring great suffering, and eventually kills it with his harpoon, which he loses in the struggle.
Just then, the marlin comes out of the water quickly and descends into the water again. Santiago is amazed by its size, two feet longer than the skiff(轻 舟).
"Then the fishsea, came alive, with in him, and It crashed into the blinding Santiago aold shower of sea Seeing his prize, Santiago says, "Ihis amdeath awith tired man. But I rose high out of the water all his great spray. With the glimpse of vision had, Santiago the do slain have killed this fish which is showing myhe brother and nowsaw Ilength must and width power and hisdisseminating beauty" . beast laying onand its back, blood into the the slave work" .all hiscrimson azure water.
Eventually, the sharks pick the marlin clean.
