此单元的主题为adventure,此篇位于单元结束处，是对本单元内容的拓展和延伸，且丝绸之路是连接起东西方文化交流的重要纽带，同时也是我们“一带一路”伟大战略的起源。
故而不论是从单元学习角度还是主题意义角度都是必须认真研习的一课。
2.学生分析：本课的授课对象为高一年级下学期的学生，他们还未意识到文化学习对于语言学习的重要性；此外本文既介绍了古代丝绸之路，那么对于现在的“一带一路”战略有所认识和了解也很有必要，所以在阅读活动后教师安排了关于“一带一路”战略的拓展阅读。
在课堂教学活动中如何引导学生关注文化学习，养成用英语语言传播中国文化和精神是本课的重点；如何引导学生关注历史以及国家发展战略和政策，形成自己的观点并有条理地表达出来是本课的难点。
〖教学目标〗基于对教学材料和学情的分析，我预设了以下教学目标，希望在完成本课后学生能够：（1）了解和认识丝绸之路和“一带一路”；（2）理解丝绸之路和“一带一路”战略对我们生活和国家发展的影响，形成自己的观点并有条理地表达出来；（3）领悟丝绸之路和“一带一路”战略对于世界文化交流和经济发展所作出的贡献，感知名族自豪感和责任感〖教学思想〗本节课充分体现以学生为主体的教学思想，让学生在课堂各种活动中认识，理解和感知。
