应该说，有了第一单元的教学铺垫，引出本单元的句型是不难的，难就难在后置定语的添加。
在中文中是没有后置定语的，要修饰一个名词，修饰词要放在前面；但在英语中，修饰词既有放在前面的，也有放在后面的，这一点让小学生来判断放前放后是极其困难的。
因此，在教学中，我们可以先采用死记硬背的方法让学生机械记忆后置定语的表达，如：the boy with big eyes, the girl with long hair, the man in a blue shirt, the woman in the green sweater。
重点是让学生根据人的外貌特征及穿着打扮来认人。
难点是区分with和in 的用法。
我们可以通过对比让学生明白，人的外貌特征应该用with而穿着打扮则用in。
同时，本单元容量较大，但像father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, sister等家庭成员类单词已在三年级学过，现已变成四会要求，脸部器官的hair 和eye已学过了，所以我们可以用以旧带新的方法来教本单元的新单词，还可以结合以前所学的内容，系统整理这些单词。
