一、教材分析:
1. 本课主要讲李明他们从体育馆回来,到家后向史密斯太太介绍了自己一天的活动情况。
提醒学生注意在他们玩的时候用的时态和他们介绍时用的时态有什么不同。
2. 教师应充分调动学生的积极性,让学生在感知、模仿、学习、体验的基础上逐步达到自然交流与真实运用语言的目的。
另一方面设计对话情景达到言语交际的目的。
让学生学会描述自己在过去一天的活动情况。
3. 本课重点内容:
⑴重点单词:bought, taught, thought
⑵重点句型:Where did you go?
二、教学建议:
1. 关于bought, taught, thought的讲解,首先讲师应先讲解一下一般过去时,一般过去时的构成是:主语+动词的过去式+其他。
这三个词都是谓语动词的过去式,他们是不规则变化。
另外这三个词长相非常相似,可以用音标来加以区分。
bought 动词buy的过去式
taught 动词teach的过去式
thought 动词think的过去式
通过音标来比较三个词读音上的区别。
2. 教师组织学生根据第4课第二部分的内容编排场景对话,注意时间不同要用不同的谓语动词。
3. 教师可以引导学生回忆在过去一天都做了什么事,然后抽几个学生来讲述。
4. 在布置作业方面,老师可以采取写日记的方式,来进一步巩固所学的重点知识。

以上的句型结构,让同学们进行替换练习,达到可以流利的表达自己的意思。
Step 3. Drill
经过以上句型的练习,同学们基本掌握,让五个同学为一组,根据课文中的内容,自行编制对话,最后到教室前,每组自己选出二位或三位同学表演。
明确要求:现在你拿着自己的信或明信片去邮局,说什么,怎么做?
假如你是邮局的服务人员,你说什么?同学们可以自己加进一些词语,使你们的对话更灵活。
模式:
A: Hello, I need ……,please.
B: Where are you sending your ……?
A: I am sending ……to …..
How much is / are …..?
B: ….yuan.
A: Thanks /thank you.
B: You are welcome.

在课下时,让同学们想象一下本课中提到的句子在其他的什么时候会使用到。
教学反思
本课通过对话的形式向同学们展示在post office 中发生的对话,使学生在复习前几课的词汇的基础上,更加熟悉了解如何寄信寄明信片。
在讲授时,通过录音机的朗读,使学生对课文中的句子有所印象,然后在看课文的同时,老师对本课中的某些句子进行解释,如:Where are you sending your letter?以及它的回答 I am sending it to …强调send ….to….的使用,使学生会举一反三。
教师讲授之后,让同学们形成小组练习,并且自编对话,这样对成绩好的同学和成绩差的同学都是很好的促进。
好得同学积极发言并帮助其他同学组成对话,最后到教室前展示。
但这一活动很浪费时间,从准备到完毕估计要15分钟,在本课的教学中小组学习是在合作探究的前提下,进行问题解决的过程。
应该注意教师的指导作用,而不是让学生放任自流。
通过本课的教学,我发现合作探究的小组学习要明确任务,否则不仅浪费时间,而且也取得不
到很好的效果,此外对于高年级教学在本课时间允许的情况下,应增加些词汇测试的内容,以便加强学生的记忆。
