Step1. Warming up(约2分钟)
2.Sing English songs “I can sing”“At the market”
2.Greetings
T: Class begins. Today, I’m your new English teacher; you can call me Miss Wang. Good morning/ afternoon, boys and girls.
How are you?
Nice to meet you.
I want to make friends with you. So I want to know something about you.
I can …. What can you do? I like mangoes. What do you like?
(sing, dance, run, jump,swim, skate, play yoyo, play chess)
T: Now, I know you, do you want to know me, you can ask me some questions, like “What can you do? / What do you like?
I think we are friends now.
Look at the star.
Ss: It’s bright/ small.
T: Do you remember the rhyme “a star”?Let’s say it together.
T: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a tree.

Step2. Presentation and practice(约18分钟)
1. (出示公园画面)What’s this?
Ss: It’s a park.
T: It is fine today. Let’s go to the park.
Ss: OK.
T: Wow, what a beautiful park! (指向一群小鸟)What are these?
引生答:They are birds.
Repeat “They are ….”并板书。

T: How many birds? (不懂师可引导数数)
Ss: One, two, three, four. They are four birds.
T:(指向一棵树)Wha t’s that?
Ss: I t’s a tree.
T:(转至树复数画面)What are those?
Ss:(引生答)They are trees.
教学:trees 出示音标/z/
Repeat “What are those? “并板书
T-G1-G2-G3-G4-T ask and answer
Chant: Trees, trees.
Those are trees.
Birds, birds.
Singing in the trees.
2.教学:an ant
T: Look, ants are running on the trees. (PPT出示蚂蚁)
Look, that’s an ant.

Learning tip: 以元音因素开头的单词要用“an” e.g.: an ant, an ear, an eye
T: What are those?
S: They are ants.
教学:ants 出示音标/ts/ cats, carrots
Chant: Those, those, what are those?
Ants, ants, they are ants.
Ss: Work in pairs.
T: Ants like trees. They are running on the trees.
Chant: Trees, trees.
Those are trees.
Ants, ants.
Running on the trees.
3. 教学flower
T: In such a beautiful park, there are trees, and what’s that? (指向一朵花)
(学生不知,让学生提问)S: What’s that?
(悄悄地告诉学生)It’s a flower. (几个轮回后,师再次问)What’s that ?
Ss: (引生齐答)I t’s a flower.
T:(转至花朵复数画面)What are those?
S:(引生答)They are flowers.
教学:flowers 出示音标/z/
T: Do you like flowers?
Ss: Yes, I do.
T: I love flowers, too.
Chant: Flowers, flowers,
I love you.
One for Daddy, one for me.
T: We all love flowers and trees and we all love the beautiful nature. So please love nature and protect the environment.
请热爱大自然并保护环境。

Step3. Learn the text
1. T: (在刚才的公园图片配上人物)Who’s he?
Ss: He’s Mike/Dad.
T: Who’s she?
Ss: She’s Helen/ Mum.
在这一过程中可复习Unit 1中的对话。

T: They’re in the park, too. They’re having a picnic.

T: Today we learn Unit6 A picnic
出示课题:Unit6 A picnic
2. Watch the whole cartoon
Read after it. (尽可能模仿语音语调)
Read the dialogue together.
3. Let’s act!
Work in pairs.
Act the dialogue.

T: Let’s summary.
(1) 当你想问“这是什么?”时可以问:What’s this?
当你想问“那是什么?”时可以问:What’s that?
他们的回答是:It’s a ….
(2) 当你想问“这些是什么?”时可以问:What are these?
当你想问“那些是什么?”时可以问:What are those?
他们的回答是:They are ….
(3) 两个或者两个以上的东西要用复数形式,例如:trees, ants, flowers, beans, carrots,
tomatoes, potatoes ….
