I described my bedroom with things like my bed, desk, bookshelf and gaming setup. We worked on prepositions of place to say where objects are located. It was helpful for being able to give clear instructions.Traveling and going new places was the theme of Unit 7. How exciting! We talked about modes of transportation, popular destinations, and activities you can do when traveling. I'd love to go to Hawaii someday and try surfing. Several classmates shared about cool places they've already visited too.In Unit 8, we focused on clothing and describing what we like to wear for different situations. I prefer t-shirts, shorts and sneakers for casual days, but I have to dress up with a nice shirt and pants for certain events. We worked on using adjectives to describe styles and patterns.Finally, Unit 9 allowed us to explore different jobs and careers people can have when they grow up. From doctors to teachers to scientists to firefighters, there are so many possibilitie! I'm really interested in maybe becoming a video game designer. We did activities thinking about our strengths and interests that could guide our future professions.Phew, that's a lot we covered so far this year! I've really improved my vocabulary, grammar, speaking and writing abilities through all of the different topics. English class has been awesome for communicating about my life and learning how to better understand others as well. I'm already excited to see what the next units will be!。
