从体裁上看，完形填空题以记叙为主，议论为辅，结构完整，用词准确，篇章条理清晰，叙事通畅明了。
从题材上看，完形填空力图选取一篇有教育意义和现实意义的文章，主题明确，逻辑性强，语言地道生动，内容新颖、时尚，内容通常涉及日常生活、文史知识、科技小品、社会热点、政治、经济、人物传记等。
2．首句一般不设空，全文保持一定的挖空密度。
完形填空的第一句一般都是完整的句子，记叙文的第一句通常把短文中故事发生的时间、地点、人物和事件等交代清楚，作为考生在解题时理解并掌握全文大意的基础。
很多时候议论文和说明文的第一句是文章的主题句，抓住主题句便抓住了文章的主旨。
空格在短文中均衡分布。

4．考点分布合理。
以考查单词为主，短语或词组为辅；以考查实词为主，虚词为辅。
这样的设置既要求考生具有很好的词感，能熟练运用所学过的常见词汇，还要求他们具有较强的语感，具有对语篇进行整体处理的能力。

第五讲状语从句第一课时知识过关课1.在时间状语或条件状语从句中，通常用一般现在时代替一般将来时，用现在完成时代替将来完成时。
2.辨析：when，while，as引导时间状语从句。
while必须与延续性动词连用，强调主句动作延续到从句所指的整个时间时，只能用while；表示“随着”只能用as；表示有规律的“每当”时或主句动作与从句动作有先后时，只能用when。
3.辨析：because，since，as引导原因状语从句。
because语气最强，表示直接的原因，是说话人认为对方不知道的原因，它引导的从句通常位于主句之后；在回答why时，或者在强调结构中，只能用because。
since和as是对大家已知的事实提供理由或背景，它们引导的从句多位于主句前，有时也位于主句后。
4.as引导让步状语从句时，从句中的状语、表语或动词必须置于句首；though引导让步状语从句时，这些成分可置于句首也可用正常语序；但although等其他词引导的让步状语从句不能将这些成分前置。
5.表示“虽然”的连词though/although不能与表示“但是”的连词but连用；表示“原因”的because等连词不可与表示结果的连词so等同时使用。

On Saturday af ternoon, Li Hua and Wang Ping, members from “Green Eyes”, was having an environmental protection activity near the riverside when they catch sight of a bird on the ground. They picked it out and found it wounded. Thinking it should die without timely help, they took it home. Under their treatment and care, the lucky bird got recovered soon. When time came for them to fly the bird, they felt a bit of pity but very delightful. I think it’s worthwhile for him to do such a thing. Here I call on the public to show respects to the nature. Only by changing the way which we treat the environment can we get along well with it.
