Listen to the song together.

answers T：Look, it’s Jan 1st .New Year is coming! Do you know the song? Can you sing ?Are you happy?

3 Question This is May. She is happy, look and

4 Rhyme

Read the rhyme together.

5 Question T: Listen! Someone is knocking the

door, who is coming?

S:…..

T: Have a guess. Is they older or

younger than father and mother?

S: Older.

6 New words: uncle T: He is father’s brother----uncle.

Mother’s sister---aunt..

Read the two words by different voice.

7 How are you,

uncle?

I am fine, thank

you.

Read the sentences in different voice.

8 How are you,

uncle?

I am fine, thank

you. Listen to the tape and learn the new sentences “ Very well, and you ?”/Just so so.

Then read the dialogue in different voice.

9 Practice the

dialogue. Ask the four group to read the dialogue together, one is questioner and read it slow, and the other is the quick answerer.

Ask Ss to say the new sentences “ My uncle is coming….How are you?/My aunt is coming…. How are you?

10 Homework: new

words and

sentences Read the new words after class, and make the dialogue with you parents.
