(二) Analysis of the Students The Ss has learned English for more than 2 years so far. They should improve their ways and abilities. (三)Teaching Aims and Demands 1.Grasp vocabuleries of the page 2. The struction and function of “Wh- to do” 3.Improve Ss’ listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities, and increase Ss’ ways of study .
Steps 4 Practice
1.Ss repeat the answer on how to learn English well. 2.Read after the tape 3.Work in groups. According to the text, act in groups Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss get the general idea of the dialogue as a whole one. At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practise their listening , reading and spoken ability.
Part 4 Teaching Procedure
I’ll finish this lesson in 4 steps. Step1 Review T asks: According to Section A, Why do Wang Junfeng, Li Xiang and Li Ming want to know how to learn English well? I’ll use Powerpoint and the tape to presentation the whole dialogue. Arrange some situation to help Ss understand Section B. 1.Listen to the tape, and answer the following questions. (use Powerpoint to present the questions.) a.Does Kangkang give everyone some advice on how to learn English well? b. What questions does everyone ask Kangkang on how to learn English well?

Co-operate to study teaching method The main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language. Good morning, I’m Su Zhihui. I’m an English teacher from No.6 Middle School. Today I’ll say Section B of Topic 3 ,Unit 3 in Book One, Grade 3. I ‘ll prepare to say the lesson from four parts.
2.Ss learn the text by themselves. T give the key phrases and sentences, and Ss find in the text. (use Powerpoint to present ) 在 ……方面薄弱;在纸上;大声读单词;多读;害怕做某 事;认真思考;深吸一口气; 你能给我一些关于学好英语的建议吗? 怎样记生词? 听起来很有趣! 怎样提高英语是我最大的问题? 3.T coach. ‘Wh- +to do’ can act as subject, object and predicative. (use Powerpoint to present) Purpose of my designing: Improve Ss’ listening and reading ability.
Steps 3 Presentation A .New words
Ss read new words by themselves . After that, Ss read together, and T checks the pronunciation. Recite new words and then T check . Purpose of my designing: Let Ss learn to recite new words.
Step 5 Homework
1.Recite the words as many as possible after class. 2.Make a dialogue according to Section B and write it in the exercise book. Purpose of my designing: I think the Ss should speak English as much as they can in class or after class. It is necessary for the Ss to do some extensive exercises after class to consolidate the knowledge they learned, and also improve their written ability.

Part 3 Studying Ways
1.Teach the Ss how to be successful language learners. 2. Let the Ss pass ‘listening— Speaking—Reading’ to study language. 3. Teach the Ss how to master dialogues and how to communicate with others.
