bear and transmit the load on floor to beams or

loadbearing walls.

Roof is the shelter and loadbearing component at the top of the buildings.

Stairs provide vertical transportation.

Assembly of Building Systems

Structural System:the skeleton of the building, to support and transmit applied gravity and

lateral loads safely to the ground.Superstructure : columns, beams, loadbearing walls, floor and roof structures;

Substructure : foundation Enclosure System:roof, exterior and interior walls, windows and doors.

Mechanical Systems:water supply and sewage disposal system; heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems; electrical systems; vertical transportation systems; fire-fighting systems, etc.

Construction drawings are arranged in the following order (approximate order of construction):

1. TITLE SHEET AND INDEX, SPECIFICATIONS —Contains project

title, index of drawings, and general specifications（图纸目录和施工总说明）

2. ARCHITECTURAL (including interior design as applicable)
