2、本单元的主题将涉及与学习相关的文章和信息,词汇量较大。

本课通过图片导入学习的话题,引导学生科学记忆词汇。

3、本课采用了Powerpoint软件制作课件。

学生分析1、本班学生在经过高一一年四个模块的学习后,已经掌握了一定的词汇、语法知识,并具备了一定的表达能力,部分学生能积极探索适合自己学习英语的方法,对语言产生了敏感度,基本能通过交流合作学习的方法发现语言规律,但仍有部分学生停留在机械性记忆的学习阶段,学习很吃力且导致学习热情的下降。

2、学生在学习本课之前已完成了Unit 14的学习,且在上一单元中也涉及到了工作与个性方面的知识,掌握了一定量的关于描述个人品质的词汇,也曾经对学习和工作的关系进行过课堂讨论。

Nicholas: I’m sorry to disagree,Jack,but I don’t accept that at all. I think there’s a common misunderstanding that the learner-centred approach isn’t as effective as the traditional methods. That just isn’t true. We used to practise doing exams but we were also taught how to study more independently. Research shows that we do just as well as students from traditional schools. 教材分析
本课是有关传统教育和非传统教育的听力课型。

学生将要听到两个交换生谈论各自学习经历的对话。

对话分为两部分。

对话第一部分内容较长,信息量大,如果完整的听一遍要4分钟,这对学生来说可能很难记住其中的具体信息。

所以我将第一部分对话根据两个学生的介绍剪辑成两段。

第一段是关于Jac的学习经历,第二段是关于Nichoa的学习经历。

本课分两课时。

第一课时将着重训练学生几个方面的听力技巧和能力:第一,预测听力内容的能力。

在听之前让学生自己提问,提出自己想了解的信息并预测谈话可能涉及的方面。

第二,复习note-taing的听力学习策略和提高对听力学习策略使用的意识。

第三,通过填空题巩固学生补全缺失信息的能力。

第二课时学习和巩固一些相关词汇和短语动词。

为了让学生有更好地吸收本课,在听完之后通过讨论不同的教育的优劣势,学生可以思辨地看清传统教育和非传统教育的优劣势。

同时也能有效的语言输出。
