教学过程一、导入:上课前,教师准备好若干张卡片,每人一张。

上课时发给学生。

教师让每个学生在卡片上用英语写上自己最喜欢去的地方,并写上原因。

每个学生写完后,教师根据学生所喜欢的地方编成若干组,喜欢去同一个地方的在一个组。

大家依次说出自己的理由,并由组长记录,最后向全班汇报。

评一评,哪个小组做得最好。

二、阅读:通过阅读使学生更好地使用目标语言。

教师把词语advantages和disadvantages写在黑板上,让学生用他们自己的话或举例子解释这个词的意思。

教师把加号(+)写在advantages的前面,把减号(-)写在disadvantages的前面。

例如,教师说:What are some advantages and disadvantages to owning a car? 让学生讨论,自由发表自己的意见。

学生朗读短文,把去商业区的利弊列出来,培养学生搜集信息,归类信息的能力。

老师讲解课文,特别强调本单元的目标语言。

同时检查学生的答案。

最后让学生听录音,模仿朗读课文。

说明:通过阅读,培养学生理解课文,获取信息的能力,开拓学生思维,进一步巩固本单元的目标语言。

三、教学巩固:任务一:你在什么地方打发时光?让学生四人一组进行讨论,你经常和你的朋友到什么地方闲逛。
