孔子英语(共9篇)孔子英语(一): Confucius孔子的英文简介One of the most famous people in ancient China was a wise philosopher named Confucius (circa 551-479 BC). He sometimes went by the names Kong Zi though he was born - Kong Qiu - styled Zhong Ni. He was born in the village of Zou in the country of Lu.This chinese man was a well-known leader in philosophy and he also made many wise phrases and theories about the law, life, and the government. Philosophy is a kind of a system of ideas and thoughts that talk about the human"s behavior, the rules that you shouldfollow to make a successful life, and about the government. In other words, it"s about thoughts and theories that teach other people lessons about principles, or rules, about life and it also teaches you a moral ( sort of like the morals that are at the end of a fable). Confucius is famous for his philosophy because he made many wise sayings in ancient China that helped many people learn about nature, the world, and the human behavior. He also helped the government and the emperor by teaching them lessons on how the emperor should rule his kingdom successfully.Confucius was born in a poor family in the year 551 B.C., and he was born in the state of Lu. His original name was K"ung Ch"iu. His father, commander of a district in Lu, died three years after Confucius was born, leaving the family in poverty; but Confucius nevertheless received a fine education. He was married at the age of 19 and had one son and two daughters. He worked as a keeper of a market. Then he was a farm worker who took care of parks and farm animals. When he was 20, he worked forthe governor of his district.孔子英语(二): 关于孔子的英语作文,就是他的介绍,用英语confuciusConfuius"s given name is Qiu,also styled Zhongni. He was born in QuFu,China,551 B.C.,and died in 479 B.C..Confucius founded confuciansism--the famous philosophical school in the history of China. The kernel of his thought isRen(benevolence),its form of expression is Li(the Rites).Confucius travlled from one state to another preaching his doctrines until he was old.He spent his last years in compiling and editing. His works include Book of Spring and Autumn,Book of Odes,Book of History,Book of Rites,Book of Music and Book of change. These six books regarded as the classical works of Confucianism have been handed down to the present time.He founded the first private schoolin Chinese history. He was the teacher of 3,000 disciples among whom 72 were Sages. His major sayings were written down in Lun Yu (The Analects),one of the Four Books.Confucius lived in the late Spring and Autumn period(770-476B.C).In his last years he lived in relative poverty and no longer enjoyed great fame. But after his death, his thought continued to influence the Chinese people for over 2,500 years. His doctrine on morality and ethics has had a great effect on theirideology, strenthening the unity of the nation and making it known to the world for its courteous dealing and solemn rites.Confucius said,"Let there be three men walking together:from the nmuber I should be sure to find my instructor." 我最喜欢的历史人物英语作文孔子

我最喜欢的历史人物英语作文孔子全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Historical Figure - ConfuciusAs a student of history, I have always been fascinated by the great thinkers and philosophers who have shaped the course of human civilization. Among the many luminaries that have left an indelible mark on our collective consciousness, one figure stands out as a beacon of wisdom and moral rectitude – Confucius.Born in the ancient Chinese state of Lu (present-day Shandong Province) in 551 BCE, Confucius, whose birth name was Kong Qiu, lived during a period of great social and political turmoil known as the Spring and Autumn Period. It was a time when the once-powerful Zhou Dynasty was crumbling, and various feudal states vied for supremacy, often engaging in brutal conflicts.Amidst this chaotic backdrop, Confucius emerged as a voice of reason, advocating for a society founded on principles of virtue, propriety, and ethical conduct. His teachings, which cameto be known as Confucianism, sought to restore order and harmony to a world that had lost its moral compass. What captivates me most about Confucius is his unwavering commitment to the pursuit of knowledge and self-cultivation. He believed that true wisdom could only be attained through diligent study, introspection, and a willingness to learn from others. This philosophy resonates deeply with me, as I navigate the challenges of my academic journey, constantly striving to expand my understanding and better myself. One of Confucius's most profound teachings is the concept of "ren," which can be loosely translated as "benevolence" or "humaneness." It emphasizes the importance of cultivating virtues such as compassion, kindness, and empathy towards others. In a world that often seems consumed by self-interest and individualism, Confucius's teachings on ren serve as a powerful reminder of the interconnectedness of humanity and the importance of treating others with respect and consideration.Another aspect of Confucius's philosophy that I find particularly compelling is his emphasis on filial piety – the reverence and respect for one's parents and elders. In an age where the traditional family structure is often challenged,Confucius's teachings on filial piety offer a refreshing perspective on the importance of honoring one's roots and upholding the values of family and tradition. Moreover, Confucius's belief in the power of education and self-improvement is a source of inspiration for me as a student. He famously said, "I was not born with knowledge, but I was born with a desire to learn." This sentiment resonates deeply with me, as I understand that true learning is a lifelong journey, and that the thirst for knowledge should never be quenched.Confucius's teachings have had a profound impact on Chinese culture and society, and their influence can still be felt today. His ideas on governance, ethics, and social harmony have shaped the way generations of Chinese people have approached various aspects of life, from interpersonal relationships to the administration of the state. However, Confucius's legacy extends far beyond the borders of China. His wisdom has been embrac篇2My Favorite Historical Figure: ConfuciusWhen asked who my favorite historical figure is, the answer comes easily to me - Confucius, the ancient Chinese philosopherand teacher whose ideas have profoundly shaped Chinese culture over the past two and a half millennia. While many of my classmates might name more contemporary figures like scientists, politicians, or celebrities, I find myself drawn to the timeless wisdom and lasting impact of Confucius' teachings.Born in 551 BCE in the state of Lu (present-day Shandong Province), Confucius lived during the chaotic Spring and Autumn period of Chinese history, a time marked by constant warfare among feudal states. From an early age, Confucius displayed a keen interest in learning and was educated in the six arts – rituals, music, archery, charioteering, calligraphy, and mathematics. He worked in various government positions during his youth but eventually became disillusioned with the corruption and moral decay he witnessed among the ruling class. At around age 50, Confucius began gathering disciples and traveling across the states, sharing his teachings on ethics, proper governance, and the ideal relationships that should exist within a stable society. Although he never achieved high political rank during his lifetime, his words and deeds had a profound effect on those around him. It is said that he once had over 3,000 students from various walks of life who were drawn to his humanistic philosophy. The core of Confucius' teachings rested on the principles of ren (benevolence, humaneness), li (propriety, proper rites), and filial piety (obedience to elders and ancestors). He believed that the cultivation of virtue was the way to achieve social harmony. "Guide the people with policies and align them with punishments, and the people will evade them and have no shame," he famously stated. "Guide the people with virtue and align them with propriety, and the people will have a sense of shame and become upright."Confucius placed a heavy emphasis on education andself-improvement as the means to become a better person. His Analects, a compilation of his sayings recorded by disciples, expressed his belief that anyone could become a superior individual – or "junzi" – by studying, reflecting, and putting virtuous principles into practice. "The superior person comprehends righteousness, the inferior person comprehends profit," goes one oft-quoted line. While Confucianism is sometimes criticized in the modern era as being too rigid, hierarchical, or deferential to authority, I believe Confucius' teachings still carry immense relevance and wisdom regarding ethics, relationships, self-discipline, and humanity's shared moral universe. In an age of profound socialshifts and ethical uncertainties, his call to lead an examined life guided by integrity and compassion resonates deeply with me.I have found Confucius' emphasis on constantly striving to improve oneself and treat others with respect to be an empowering philosophy. His ideals of hard work, humility, and the lifelong pursuit of knowledge inspire me to be a better student and person. In a world that often seems motivated by greed, egoism, and the relentless pursuit of wealth and status, his focus on inner virtue and interpersonal harmony provides a necessary counterbalance. What draws me to Confucius above all, however, is the way his teachings have woven themselves into the fabric of Chinese civilization across geography and time. From the traditions of ancestral veneration to the civil service examination system to cultural concepts like "the Rectification of Names," Confucian thought permeated every aspect of traditional Chinese society. Even the Chinese written language, with its semantic and philosophical roots, bears the indelible influence of Confucianism. When I study Chinese history, I see the handprints of Confucian values in dynastic codes of ethics, the philosophies of scholar-officials, and the rigid structures of feudal hierarchy. Andwhen I observe Chinese society today, however greatly transformed by markets and technology, I still detect enduring Confucian influences in social mores, cultural sensibilities, and modes of ethical reasoning. Resonances of the Master's wisdom echo across 2,500 years.Critics may argue that Confucianism has also been an obstacle to societal reform and progressive values at various points in Chinese history. And indeed, like any philosophy that became systemized into an official ideology, Confucian teachings were often distorted or stretched beyond their intended purposes to buttress status quo power structures. But I would contend that Confucius' humanism and this-worldly ethical focus, when understood in their purest sense, can be a source of moderation,篇3My Favorite Historical Figure: ConfuciusConfucius is undoubtedly one of the most influential figures in Chinese history and even world civilization. As a student deeply fascinated by history and philosophy, I have great admiration for this ancient Chinese thinker whose teachings haveprofoundly shaped the cultural traditions and values of East Asia for over two millennia.Born in 551 BCE in the state of Lu (present-day Shandong Province), Confucius lived during the chaotic Spring and Autumn period of the Zhou Dynasty. It was an era of constant warfare among feudal states vying for power and territory. Confucius witnessed first-hand the suffering caused by unrest and poor governance. This turbulent environment sparked his lifelong quest to establish a stable and harmonious social order based on moral principles. One of the core concepts of Confucian thought is ren, often translated as "benevolence" or "humaneness." It embodies qualities like compassion, kindness, and love towards others. Confucius believed that cultivating ren was the key to becoming a "superior person" (junzi) and the foundation for an ideal society. He stressed the importance of treating others with empathy, respect and consideration – principles that still resonate deeply today amidst our polarized and divided world.Another central Confucian virtue is li, which refers to propriety, rituals, and appropriate social roles and conduct. Confucius advocated adhering to these customs and ethical norms as a means of creating order, hierarchy, and socialcohesion. While critics view Confucian li as rigid and overly deferential to authority, I believe there is wisdom in balancing individual freedoms with responsibility towards family and community. We can neither function as a society of completely atomized individuals pursuing selfish interests, nor as oppressed masses crushed by authoritarian regimes. Striking this balance has long been a challenge for humanity. What truly makes Confucius remarkable is that he was arguably the first influential teacher to promote the revolutionary idea that one's status should be defined not by noble birth but by moral cultivation and virtuous conduct. He envisioned an institutionalized meritocracy where those most qualified and ethical would be elevated as advisors and officials to lead society. Confucius himself was not aristocratic, but a commoner who through diligent study became one of the most respected and influential scholars of his era. This notion of merit over bloodline birthed the great Chinese imperial examination system that selected civil servants based on their mastery of the Confucian classics rather than wealth or lineage. For over a millennium, this system helped drain the aristocratic monopoly on power and opened paths for social mobility through education and self-improvement. While latersuffering from institutionalized corruption, the imperial exams were historically a great equalizing force compared to the rigid, hereditary class systems that persisted in most other civilizations until modern times. On a personal level, what draws me to Confucius are the humbling accounts of his struggles and perseverance. He faced poverty, exile, and saw his teachings widely rejected during his lifetime. Yet he maintained faith in his principles and devoted himself to educating students who could spread his philosophy to future generations. It was not until after his death that his doctrines gained prominence and were promoted as official state ideology by later dynasties. One of my favorite stories illustrates Confucius's dedication, integrity, and passion for learning. When he encountered a crew repairing a building, Confucius asked the men several insightful questions about the architectural design and construction process - not out of mere curiosity, but from a sincere desire to expand his own knowledge. A student inquired why their renowned。

用英语介绍孔子大概50字左右的作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Who Was Confucius?Have you ever heard of a wise man named Confucius? He was a really important teacher who lived in China a long, long time ago - over 2,500 years ago! Confucius taught people how to be good and have good manners. He had so many brilliant ideas about how we should treat each other and live our lives. Let me tell you all about this amazing philosopher!Confucius was born in 551 BC in the Lu state of China during a time of war and conflict. His family wasn't rich, but his parents valued education and manners a whole lot. Even as a young kid, Confucius was extremely smart and loved learning everything he could. He was curious about traditions, history, poetry, and how to live an ethical life. When Confucius grew up, he worked as a bookkeeper and then later as a governor. But his true passion was teaching. He began gathering students and traveling around telling people his ideas on proper behavior, family values, and goodgovernment. Confucius wanted everyone to live virtuously and treat each other with kindness and respect.Confucius had so many wise sayings! One of my favorites is "What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others." That's the Golden Rule - being kind and not doing mean things. Another good one is "When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps." That means if something isn't working, you should change how you do it instead of just giving up. Smart advice!Even though Confucius lived so long ago, his teachings are still very important today. He had ideas about having good morals, working hard, respecting your elders and ancestors, being a good leader, and valuing traditions. We can learn a lot from the things Confucius said! For example, Confucius talked a whole lot about filial piety - honoring and obeying your parents. He said children should listen to their moms and dads because parents make a ton of sacrifices to take care of their kids. Showing respect to your family is one of the most important Confucian values. I always try my best to mind my parents!Confucius also believed that people should receive a good education so they can be virtuous citizens. He thought that ifpeople studied poetry, history, and philosophy, they could live more ethical lives. That's why school is so important! We're learning not just reading and math, but also how to be good people.Another big idea from Confucius was about relationships and having good manners. He said there needs to be order in society, with everyone understanding their role and treating each other properly. Kids should obey parents, citizens should obey the government, and everyone should be respectful. Having good etiquette and being kind creates harmony.Confucian teachings also talk about achieving inner peace through reflection, self-discipline, and being humble. If we take time to think before we act and don't get too full of ourselves, we can have happier lives. I try to do that, but it's not always easy as a kid! After traveling around teaching for many years, Confucius went back home and spent the rest of his days compiling and editing ancient writings. He helped preserve classic texts on poetry, history, philosophy, and rituals that are still read today. Confucius was a huge contributor to Chinese culture and literature.Even though Confucius lived a very long time ago, his ideas are still super important and can help guide how we live our lives today. I'm glad I learned all about this wise philosopher in school! His thoughts on having good morals, working hard, respecting family, and being a good leader are things we can all try to follow. I'll do my best to be kind, mind my parents, study hard, and live an ethical life just like Confucius taught.篇2Confucius - The Great TeacherHi there! Today I want to tell you about a really cool guy named Confucius. He lived a long, long time ago in ancient China. But even though he's been gone for over 2,500 years, people all over the world still learn about his wise teachings.Confucius was born in 551 BC in a small village called Tsingping. His parents gave him the name Kong Qiu at birth. When he grew up to be a brilliant thinker and teacher, people started calling him "Confucius" which means "Master Kong."As a young man, Confucius loved learning everything he could about history, poetry, and the proper ways for people to behave. He traveled all around China teaching others what hehad learned. Confucius didn't just tell people facts - he taught them how to live a good and moral life. One of the most important ideas Confucius taught was about relationships between people. He said there needs to be respect, kindness and understanding between children and parents, husbands and wives, leaders and citizens, friends, and even strangers. He called this proper relationship the "Principle of Li."Confucius also promoted ideas like being honest, hardworking, showing self-control, and always striving to be better. He believed that through education and self-discipline, people could reach their highest potential and create a society of peace and harmony. Pretty wise stuff for a guy who lived so long ago, right?Even though Confucius never actually wrote down his own teachings, his students took really good notes. After he died, his lessons were gathered into books called the Analects. They contain amazing advice like "When you see a good person, try to emulate them. When you see someone not so good, look within yourself for shortcomings."The teachings of Confucius spread widely across ancient China. Powerful emperors embraced his philosophies about howto govern wisely and treat people fairly. Confucianism became one of the most influential belief systems in Chinese history, right up there with Buddhism and Taoism. But Confucius' impact wasn't just limited to China. You can find signs of his teachings across the world today. In Korea, ceremonies honoring ancestors and respecting elders come straight from Confucian values. In Japan, the idea of selfless public service among government officials has Confucian roots.Even in the United States, some of the core ideas found in the Declaration of Independence about human rights and civic duty may have been influenced by Confucian thought that spread through Europe.Today many people follow Confucianism as a religion or philosophy for living an ethical life through personal growth and responsibility to family and society. But even if you don't practice Confucianism, you have to admire how one man's ideas from so long ago still guide how we think about morality and relationships with each other.I think Confucius was an amazing teacher and it's really cool that 2,500 years later, kids like me are still learning about his wise words. He shared so much brilliant wisdom about having a strong character, treating others with respect, and working hardto make the world a more harmonious place. Those ideas are just as important now as they were back then!So take a page out of the Analects and "Respect yourself and others will respect you." Pretty smart stuff from old Master Kong, the great Confucius!篇3Confucius - The Wise Teacher from Ancient ChinaHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about a really important man from a long long time ago in China. His name was Confucius and he was one of the smartest teachers and philosophers that ever lived. Even though he was born over2,500 years ago, people still study his ideas and lessons today!Confucius lived in a time called the Spring and Autumn Period in ancient China. Back then, China wasn't one big united country like it is now. It was made up of lots of small kingdoms and states that were always fighting each other. Confucius saw how the wars and battles made people suffer. He wanted to find a way to bring peace and harmony. When Confucius was young, he loved learning everything he could. He studied history, poetry, rituals and rules about howpeople should behave. By the time he grew up, he became a brilliant teacher and scholar. Everywhere he went, students started following him to learn his wise teachings. Eventually Confucius had thousands of students! One of the most important things Confucius taught was about being a good, moral person. He talked a lot about virtues like kindness, respect, honesty, and doing what's right. He believed if rulers and leaders acted morally and fairly, it would influence everyone else to behave well too. That could help bring peace instead of constant conflict.Confucius didn't just preach about morals though - he led by example. All his students said he perfectly practiced what he taught about being good and ethical. He was humble, patient, hard-working and always willing to learn more. Confucius wanted everyone to focus on constantly improving themselves.Another big idea from Confucius was about having the right relationships and behavior between people. He talked about the proper roles for family members, leaders, subjects, friends and more. Showing respect and fulfilling your duties to others was very important in his teachings. For example, children should obey their parents, and leaders should be caring towards their people.Confucius had so many wise sayings that are still quoted today! One of my favorites is "It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop." I think that means we should be patient, keep working hard and never give up on improving ourselves. Another good one is "When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps." So if something isn't working, we shouldn't just give up - we should try a different approach!Even though much of Confucius's actual life is uncertain since he lived so long ago, his thoughts and philosophy had an enormous impact on Chinese culture. For over 2,000 years, Confucianism shaped how people in China viewed ethics, education, government and life. Many royal kingdoms tested people on Confucian ideas before hiring them for important jobs. Even today, you can visit Confucius's hometown which has giant memorial temples and statues honoring him.I think Confucius's teachings about virtues, relationships, education and always striving to be better are really wise and meaningful. While a lot has changed since ancient times, his ideas seem just as relevant today as they were back then. I try my best to follow his advice about being a good person who respects others and keeps learning. I hope you'll join me instudying this amazing philosopher too! Let's all keep working hard and improving ourselves each day, just like Confucius did.篇4Confucius: The Wise Teacher Who Shaped Chinese CultureHave you ever heard of a person who lived a really, really long time ago, but whose ideas are still taught and followed today? I'm talking about someone who was born over 2,500 years ago in ancient China! His name was Confucius, and he was one of the most influential philosophers and teachers in Chinese history.Confucius lived during a time when there was a lot of chaos and fighting between different kingdoms in China. He believed that people needed to follow a strict moral code to bring order and peace to society. Confucius taught that everyone should practice five main virtues: kindness, righteousness, respect, wisdom, and honesty. He said that if people followed these virtues, they would create a harmonious and well-ordered society. One of Confucius's most famous teachings was about relationships and how people should behave towards one another. He talked about the "Five Relationships": therelationship between ruler and subject, father and son, husband and wife, older brother and younger brother, and between friends. Confucius believed that if everyone respected their roles and treated each other properly based on these relationships, society would function smoothly. For example, Confucius said that a good ruler should be kind and care for their people like a parent cares for their children. In return, the people should be loyal and obedient to their ruler, just like children obey their parents. Confucius also emphasized the importance of filial piety, which means showing respect and devotion to your parents and ancestors.Confucius didn't just talk about big ideas and rules; he also gave practical advice for daily life. He said things like "When you make a mistake, don't be afraid to correct it" and "If you think too much about the past, you'll never move forward." He even had thoughts on things like good manners, like saying "Don't point with your fingers" and "Don't sit unless your elders are seated first."Even though Confucius lived such a long, long time ago, his ideas had a huge influence on Chinese culture, society, and government for over 2,000 years! Confucian teachings were seen as so important that young boys in ancient China had to studyand memorize Confucius's writings as part of their education. Many emperors tried to rule according to Confucian principles, creating strict hierarchies and codes of behavior for their subjects to follow.Nowadays, while some of Confucius's specific teachings might seem a bit old-fashioned, his core values of kindness, respect, honesty, and seeking harmony are still widely appreciated in Chinese culture. You can see Confucian ideas reflected in things like the importance of family, showing respect to elders, and valuing education. So even though Confucius was just an ordinary man who lived over 2,500 years ago, his wise words and moral teachings had an extraordinary impact that shaped Chinese civilization for centuries. Pretty amazing for a humble teacher and philosopher, right? His ideas crossed vast distances and lengths of time to still influence how billions of people think and behave today. Now that's what I call leaving a lasting legacy!篇5Confucius - The Great Teacher of Ancient ChinaHi everyone! Today I want to tell you about a really cool and wise guy from a long, long time ago named Confucius. He livedin ancient China over 2,500 years ago and taught people all about how to be good, smart, and live a proper life. Pretty neat, huh?Confucius was born in 551 BC in a place called Lu, which is now the Shandong province. His real name was actually Kong Qiu, but people started calling him Confucius, which means "Master Kong." From a young age, he loved learning and reading books. He came from a pretty poor family, but he worked really hard and became a respected teacher and philosopher when he grew up.One of Confucius' biggest ideas was about having good morals and proper behavior. He believed that if people acted with virtue, integrity, and respect for each other, society would beharmonious and peaceful. Some of his key values were loyalty, kindness, honor, and always striving to improve yourself. He taught that everyone should treat others the way they wished to be treated. Sounds a lot like the Golden Rule we learn about, right?Confucius spent many years traveling around China with groups of students, sharing his teachings on ethics, wisdom, and how to have good relationships and be a good leader or ruler. He talked a lot about filial piety, which means respecting yourparents and elders. And he emphasized the importance of education, sincerity, and living a modest life. Cool stuff for an ancient philosopher, don't you think? While Confucius wanted to work for the government so he could spread his ideas, the kings and rulers didn't always listen to him. It wasn't until after he died that people really started understanding how smart and insightful his words were. Over time, his thoughts and sayings became hugely influential all across China and other parts of Asia. He basically became one of the most famous teachers in history!Lots of Confucius' teachings were collected into a book called The Analects by his devoted students. It contains little stories that illustrate his philosophies and words of wisdom on all kinds of topics - from how to be a good friend to advice for people in charge. The Analects has been studied for centuries and shaped so much of Chinese culture, traditions, and belief systems.I think Confucius seemed like a really cool, wise, and caring guy. He spent his whole life trying to educate people and make the world a kinder, more ethical place. Even though he lived a ridiculously long time ago, many of his lessons on moral character and relationships are still super relevant today.Treating others with respect, learning from your mistakes, and always striving to be a better human being? Those are great principles for all of us to live by, whether you lived in ancient China or the modern world! So there you have it - the scoop on the famous Master Kong, or Confucius as we know him. He may have lived over 2,500 years ago, but his words of wisdom have stood the test of time. Who knew an ancient philosopher could be so fascinating and have such an amazing lasting impact? I hope you enjoyed learning about the brilliant teachings of Confucius as much as I did!篇6Confucius Was a Really Cool GuyDo you know who Confucius was? He was this super old Chinese philosopher dude who lived like a really, really long time ago - we're talking over 2,500 years ago! Can you even imagine living that long ago? I can't!Confucius was born in 551 BC in a place called Lu, which was in ancient China. His real name was actually Kong Qiu, but everybody just called him Confucius, which is the Latin version of his name. Even as a little kid, Confucius was really smart and loved learning about history, poetry, and rituals. When he grew up, Confucius became a traveler and went all around the different states of ancient China teaching people his ideas about ethics, proper behavior, and how to have a good government. He had lots of students who followed him around, kind of like a teacher with his class today. Except back then, they didn't have cars or buses, so they all had to walk everywhere! Can you imagine walking across all of ancient China? My legs would be so tired!Anyway, Confucius had some really interesting thoughts about how people should act and treat each other. He believed that everyone should follow the golden rule and treat others the way you want to be treated yourself. He also thought that families, communities, and even countries would work better if everyone did their role properly and respected each other. Kids should obey their parents, wives should obey their husbands, regular people should obey their leaders, and leaders should be good role models. Today we might not totally agree with some of those ideas, but back then it made a lot of sense.Confucius was really into traditions, rituals, and honoring your ancestors too. He wore traditional robes and performed ceremonial rituals to help guide people's behaviors. He loved things like music, poetry, literature, and history because he feltthey helped make people more cultured and ethical. I'm not sure I completely understand it all, but it was really important stuff to him!Even though Confucius lived so long ago, his teachings were so influential that they basically shaped the culture of places like China, Korea, Japan and Vietnam for thousands of years! His philosophy was kind of like the biggest deal ever in East Asia. And get this - people still study and practice Confucianism today, over 2,500 years later! That's pretty amazing if you ask me.Confucius came up with this idea called the Analects, which was a collection of his sayings and teachings put together by his students after he died. It's kind of like a big book of Confucius' greatest quotes and life lessons. Some of them are pretty wise and some are a little strange to me, but hey, they were written a really, really long time ago! Here are a few of his famous quotes from the Analects:"What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others.""Isn't it a pleasure to study and practice what you have learned?""If you look for the truth, you may find it in the strangest of places."I don't always totally understand everything Confucius said, but I think he had a lot of good points about being good to others, working hard, and always trying to learn more. Those seem like pretty solid ideas to live by if you ask me!So in conclusion, Confucius was this really old but very influential Chinese philosopher. Even after 2,500 years, lots of people still look up to his teachings about ethics, rituals, and proper behavior. He had some interesting thoughts, even if some of them seem a little weird or outdated today. But overall, he seemed like a pretty wise, intelligent, and influential guy, at least for someone who lived back in ancient China! Who knows, maybe studying Confucius will help me become a better student and person. Or maybe I'll just stick to watching cartoons - they're a lot easier to understand!。

And leaders sometimes follow his principles about governing justly.Memorials, statues, and temples honour Confucius in countries across the globe, including a famous site in hishometown of Qufu, Shandong. He remains an iconic figure whose wisdom continues guiding people over 2,500 years later. While Confucius lived a very long time ago, his ideas about moral living and putting others first are timeless. By studying kindness, respect, and a love for learning, we can all learn something from the humble teacher known as the "First Master."篇3Confucius - The Great TeacherHi, my name is Michael and today I want to tell you about a very wise man named Confucius who lived a long time ago in ancient China. Confucius was a famous philosopher and teacher whose ideas are still really important today, over 2,500 years after he lived!Confucius was born in 551 BC in the state of Lu, which is now the modern-day Shandong province of China. His real name was actually Kong Qiu but he became known as Confucius, which means "Master Kong" in Latin. From a young age, Confucius loved learning and studied history, poetry, and ritual traditions. As he grew older, Confucius began teaching others about his ideas on proper human behavior, how society should beorganized, and how people should treat each other with kindness, respect and virtue. He quickly became well-known for his wisdom and ideas about ethics, morality and social relationships. Some of Confucius' Main TeachingsOne of Confucius' core beliefs was that people need to constantly work on improving themselves morally and ethically. He taught principles like filial piety, which means respecting and honoring your parents and elders. Loyalty, kindness, andself-discipline were other key values he emphasized.Confucius also believed that society should be built on five key relationships: the relationship between a ruler and subject, father and son, husband and wife, older and younger siblings, and between friends. Each party in these relationships has certain duties and responsibilities toward the other. For example, rulers and fathers must be kind and caring leaders, while subjects and children must obey them. Older siblings should look after younger ones. Confucius felt that if everyone understood and followed the proper roles in these relationships, society would be harmonious and stable.Confucius placed a lot of importance on education,self-improvement, and leading an ethical life. He felt that a moral society could only be built by moral individuals. Some of his famous sayings were:"The superior man is modest in his speech, but exceeds in his actions.""Wisdom comes from learning, and inaction comes from lack of wisdom.""When you know a thing, maintain that you know it; and when you do not know a thing, acknowledge that you do not know it. This is knowledge."The Analects and Confucius' LegacyConfucius' philosophical ideas were written down by his students in a collection of sayings called The Analects. This book contains his views on how people should behave, govern, and live moral lives. The Analects has had an enormous influence on Chinese thought and values over the centuries. For the rest of his life, Confucius traveled around ancient China trying to put his ideas into practice and advise rulers on how to govern wisely and ethically. He gathered a group of dedicated students who studied his teachings closely.Although Confucius faced setbacks and his ideas were not always accepted during his lifetime, his influence only grew after his death in 479 BC at the age of 72. Over time, Confucianism became one of the dominant philosophies in China, along with Daoism and Buddhism. Confucian values shaped the imperial governments, education system, and way of life for thousands of years.Even today, over 2,500 years later, Confucius' emphasis on virtue, morality, respect for elders, and self-cultivation still influence Chinese culture and societies across East Asia. Confucian temples and his teachings about ethics, kind leadership, and social harmony remain highly relevant in the modern world. Confucius was truly one of the most influential philosophers and thinkers in human history!篇4Confucius: A Wise Teacher from Ancient ChinaHave you ever heard the name Confucius? His real name was Kong Qiu, but people called him Kong Fuzi out of respect, which means "Master Kong." Confucius was born in 551 BCE in the state of Lu, which is now the province of Shandong in eastern China. His family was once noble and wealthy, but by the time Confucius was born, they had lost their fortune and status. As a young boy, Confucius had to work hard doing things like tending sheep and reading books by candlelight since his family was poor. He was very curious and loved learning about history, poetry, and the ancient rituals of China's Zhou dynasty.Becoming a Great TeacherAs a young man, Confucius worked as a bookkeeper, a shepherd, and a clerk. Over his lifetime, Confucius had over 3,000 students come to study with him! He would ask them questions to make them think deeply and discuss philosophical ideas. Confucius wanted his students to not just memorize information, but to truly understand ethics and how to lead a moral life.Travels and Later LifeFor many years, Confucius traveled around China to different kingdoms, trying to spread his ideas and find a ruler who would let him put his teachings into practice. However, most rulers didn't really listen to his ideas about having a just, ethical government that cared for the people.Confucius spent many years wandering from state to state with his students, sometimes having to go into hiding or face danger from rival kingdoms and rulers. He finally returned home to Lu at age 68, disappointed that no ruler had fully accepted his ideas. He spent the last years of his life teaching, writing, and compiling the classics of ancient Chinese literature and history. The Analects and Confucian TeachingsThe most important book recording Confucius' teachings is called the Analects. Confucius
Confucius (551 B.C—479 B.C.) is one of the most famous Chinese people. As the founder of Confucianism1, his thought has exerted a deep influence on China and its people. But Confucius was not his real name. It was a courtesy title, a Latinized form of “Kong Fuzi”, meaning “Master Kong”. His family name was Kong and his given name, Qiu. And he styled himself Zhongni. He was born at Zouyi, the State of Lu2.

As one of the greatest thinkers and educators in the history of China, Confucius’ legacy lies in the following three aspects: Firstly, he compiled and preserved the literary works, The Six Classics, including Shi3, Shu4, Li5, Yue6, Yi7and Chun Qiu8, which are regarded as the classics of Confucianism. The accomplishment makes a large impact on the succession and development of the traditional Chinese culture.
作为中国历史上伟大的思想家和教育家,他整理了《诗》、《书》、《礼》、《乐》、《易》、《春秋》六部文献,被后代奉为儒家经典,合称“六经”,为传统文化的继承和发展做出了巨大的贡献。

Secondly, Confucius built up a system of philosophical thoughts with Ren as its basic virtue. This virtue is the central theme of his Analects9. He considered Ren as the first and highest criterion of man’s behavior and the core of morality. Ren meant to “love other men”;to help others to be established when one wished to be established oneself; and help others to be
successful when one wished to be successful oneself. Confucius’ concept of Li refers to a set of ritual and musical systems, with the hierarchical system as its core. Ren and Li are complementary: Li is the exterior principle of Ren while Ren is Li’s intrinsic guiding power. To accomplish Ren, one must abide by Li, and Ren will be naturally generated in the process of practicing Li. Fundamentally, the purpose of Confucius’ Li is to restore the traditional rites of the Zhou Dynasty11.

Thirdly, Confucius established private schools, creating a scientific educational system.. Confucius also held the idea that everyone should be educated regardless of his social status. In educational practice, he created flexible teaching methods, promoting the combination of learning and thinking, learning and reviewing as well as teaching and learning. He emphasized on individualized and heuristic teaching . These ideas are still of great significance in practice today.
