《新视野大学英语预备级》第一册教学大纲适用专业:艺术与传媒学院、教育与体育学院体育系一年级以及全院实用英语班学生课程类别:学位课课程学时:64学时(周4学时)课程编号:5511021课程学分:4学分一、课程说明《新视野大学英语(预备级)》为艺术与传媒学院、教育与体育学院体育系一年级学生一门极其重要的公共必修课。

是学生完成学业和今后进入社会从事现代科学技术研究不可缺少的重要工具。

通过这门课程的教学,培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、读、写、译的能力,使他们能力英语交流信息。

《新视野大学英语读写教程》课堂教学改变传统的以教师讲授为主的单一课堂教学模式,积极采用新的教学方法,真正体现英语教学的实用性、文化性和趣味性融合的原则,以现代化信息技术,特别是网络技术为支撑,使英语教学朝着个性化、自主式学习方向发展。

本大纲要求学生领会掌握3000个单词,并具有按照基本构词法识别生词的能力;掌握基本语法知识,理解常见语法现象;掌握基本阅读技巧,正确理解一般题材、中等语言难度的文章,速度达到每分钟50-60词;听懂语速为每分钟100-130词的听力材料;按照规定的题目和提示,半小时内写出不少于120词的短文,内容连贯,无重大语法错误,文体统一,表意基本清楚。

本课程共安排64学时,其中读写32学时,听力32学时。

《新编大学英语第四册》教学大纲本门课程的教学目标和要求:培养学生具有较强的阅读能力、一定的听和译的能力,一定的写和说的能力,使他们能以英语为工具获取专业所需要的信息。

大学英语教学应该帮助学生掌握良好的语言学习方法,打下扎实的语言基础,提高文化素养,培养学生语言运用能力、交流信息能力,以适应社会发展和经济建设的需要。

教学重点和难点:本册要求学生掌握词汇量达600个左右,常用固定搭配、短语、习语、成语等200个左右。

课文内容的剖析及理解,掌握作者写作目的及行文的结构方式。

教学对象:二年级非英语专业本科生教学方式:课堂讲授精读和课后练习3学时,听力1学时。

一般要求是我校每个非英语专业大学毕业生必须达到的基本要求;较高要求是对那些学有余力、英语基础较好的学生设置的。

一般要求1. 听力理解能力:能听懂英语授课,能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座,能基本听懂慢速英语节目,语速为每分钟140词左右,能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。

能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。

2. 口语表达能力:能在学习过程中用英语交流,并能就某一主题进行讨论,能就日常话题和英语国家的人士进行交谈,能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。

能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。

3.阅读理解能力:能基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章,阅读速度达到每分钟80词。
