被定语从句所修饰的词叫先行词,通常位于定语从句之前。

引导定语从句的是关系代词that, which, who, whom, whose和关系副词when, where, why.关系代词或关系副词位于先行词和定与从句之间,它既起连接作用,又充当从句中的一个成分.2.含定语从句的复合句的基本结构:先行词+关系词+定语从句.e g: A doctor is a person who looks after people’s health.【点拨】1) 句中He is our national hero who traveled around the earth in Shenzhou v for 21 hours是一个由who 引导的定语从句,修饰先行词hero。

who在从句中作主语,不能省略,此处也可用that。

2)在复合句中,修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫做定语从句。

被修饰的名词或代词叫先行词,从句放在所修饰词(即先行词)之后,由关系代词(that, which, who等)引导。
