1. I very like itI like it very much.2.

The price is very suitable for me.The price is right.

The following programme is not suitable for children

What’s your job?Are you working at the moment?

How do youspell that please? How do you pronounce this word?5.

I have something to do tomorrow?Sorry but I am tied up all day tomorrow.

They are not due until next week, you’re really on the ball. I wish I could be more organized.”“哇,你已经完成任务了?

“You’ve met my friend Amy Adams, right?”“Hmmm, I’m not sure, but that name ri ngs a bell. Was she the one who went to Paris last year?”“你见过我的朋友艾米·亚当斯,对吗?”“嗯……

例如“me too.” 但⽼美不只会⽤“me too.”他们还会⽤“same here.”虽然same跟here你我都认识,但我们就不会说“same here.”

1. Do you have any pet peeve? 所以就有⽼美跟我说过,“Everybody has his pet peeve.”

例如我就常听⽼美抱怨,“Don‘t you think he is annoying?”(你不觉得他很烦吗?) 2. Maybe I‘m going out on a limb, but I think we still have to invest it.

1.I'm goodI'm good除了可以用来回答How are you?,表示“我很好”之外,还常用于:- Do you want some chips with your sandwich?你的三明治要带薯条吗?- No, I'm good. Thanks.

- Do you have any questions?你还有什么问题吗?- No, I'm good.

- Do you wanna go to a strip club?要不要去看脱衣舞?- I'm good.

Instead of saying "My Chinese name is xxx,and my English name is xxx.", 你可以这样说:My name is xxx (中文名), and I go by xxx (英文名).Go by即“被叫做,人们常叫我……”,“To be called; be known”。

例如:Our friend William often goes by Billy.

My name is Catherine, and I go by Cat.

3. Appreciate it!

Thank you very much!","Thanks a lot!" I appreciate what you have done for me.

4. Have a good one

Have a good day / night / weekend"之类的。

还有种更简易的表达,即"Have a good one!",简单顺口,客套必备。

如果你再懒一点,还可以省掉one的一个辅音,直接说,Have a good'un!5. We trust in God.2. 6.

”Ado

I figure it'll rain tomorrow.

8. Petite/plus size/fair/tan

在形容肤色时,长得白和黑不是white和black(涉嫌种族歧视,慎用!),而是pale/fair (形容白),tan/dark形容黑。

I hope this email finds you well.

Any response will be appreciated.

Please feel free to let me know if there should be any question.

It would be great/the best if you could... 这就是传说中比"Could you please..."

10. No problem在国内学到的是:- Could you help me with xxx?- No problem!而在国外听到的往往是:- Thank you!- No problem.有时甚至:- Oh sorry!- No problem!11. Whenever you need help, just shoot me an email.

(比send更口语化)- I've collected some negative comments on you.

-Shoot.

)I was shooting for100, but 98 is ok.

I'll leave you be.

)I'm off.

例句:- Well, it's been a great party. Good-bye. Got to go.

- I'm off too. Bye.

I've got to dash.

)13. Off the hook

He paid all the fines so he's finally off the hook now.

My sister broke up with her fiance, so I'm off the hook for buying her a wedding present.

My favorite TV show is hands down Friends.

Hands down Ben Rowan is a git.Ben Rowan

- Do you want me to get you a cup of coffee?你要不要来杯咖啡?- No, I'm good. Thank you though.

16. Sure/Of course

Sure一般用来表达欣然同意对方的提议,意为“好呀”:- Can I give you a call? 好呀!- Would you like to get a cup of coffee or something? There are, of course, exceptions to the rule.

- What do you do now?

- Of course.

的样子” ,“之类的”等模糊的意思时,除了nearly, approximately, almost, kind of, sort of 等词汇外,更口语的说法还有or so,-ish,...something等:He has worked in the company for a year and two months or so.

After dinner I had 30 cherries or so.

That movie was good-ish.

)That color is blue-ish.

Let's meet around 9-ish.
