▲1. help sb=give sb a hand =do sb a favor帮某人的忙

Could you please help me?=Could you please give me a hand? =Could you please do me a favor?

▲2.Could you…?“请你…好吗?”后接动词原形，相当于would you...? 常用来表示有礼貌的请求。

肯定回答：sure,certainly,of course

其否定句式Could you please not do sth.

▲3. fall ill 意为："得病；生病" ；fall的过去式fell

▲4. be glad to do sth高兴/乐意做某事。

Eg：I’m glad to see you.

★▲5 Would / Do you mind doing sth? “你介意做某事吗？/ 请你….好不好？

mind 其后跟动词ing形式。意为“介意……，反对……”通常用于否定句、疑问句中。句型为：

1)Would you mind doing sth?= Would you mind +if从句“你介意做某事吗？”

2)否定句式：Would you mind not doing sth?“你介意不做某事吗？”

如果表示不介意：not at all 完全不介意；of course not\Certainly not 当然不介意；

如果表示“介意，反对”则常说yes；please not；better not;

sorry,I’m afraid you’d better not.

be sorry for sth/doing sth.. 为(做)某事感到遗憾、后悔、抱歉。

for 后面的what I said 是一个宾语从句，做介词for的宾语，说明抱歉的原因。
