Important words

1)generalize v

(1) generalize about to make a general statement 笼统地表达，概括Example

Our history teacher is always generalizing; he never deals with anything in detail. 我们的历史老师总是泛泛而论，他从不详细阐述任何问题。

(2) generalize from to form a general principle, opinion, etc, after considering only a small number of facts.

Example
