如何激发学生的学习英语的兴趣,提高初中学生的英语水平呢?显然,搞好口语教学是英语教学的关键。

初中英语的教科书中口语内容有很大比重,如:一、社会交往:问候、介绍、告别、问路、看病、打电话、购物等,二、态度,三情感,四、时间、空间等。

口语篇幅贯穿于教材的始终,突出了英语最本质的功能——交际性。

那么,如何进行口语教学呢?我想从以下四个方面谈谈:一、关爱学生,帮助学生端正学习态度,明确学习目的许多家长和学生都认为学英语无用,我又不出国,只要学好母语就够了,但他们根本就没有意识到改革开放的今天,英语是多么重要,许多外商的投资以及大量商品的进出口都需要用语言来交流,没有正确的语言又怎么能沟通呢?因此学英语势在必行,作为一个英语教师首先应让学生明确这一点。

爱心与耐心是学生转换的又一个前提。

英语的词汇量大,尤其是新教材词汇量更多,再加上许多句型及短语也要记忆,学生学起来本身就有一定的难度,因此需要我们的教师多给一点爱心和耐心。

我们应该做到“好看的要爱,有伤疤的更要怜惜。

”只要每一个教师对每一个学生都充满信心,感受诚心,献出爱心,工作耐心,就能达到较好的教学目的,收到较好的教学效果。
