Part One warm up:

1. Give students five minutes read the words and phrases in unit

2. Ask some students recite these words and phrases.

·Read the new words and phrases after the teacher and then try to recite them.

·Dialogue 1

1.Give students five minutes read this dialogue.

2.Ask two students to have a role play.

Situation: Leo took part in a party held by Mary last Friday. Now he comes to thanks her and invites her for a film.

(L=Leo, M=Mary)

M: Come in, Leo. What beautiful flowers!

L : These are for you. I come to say thanks for the dinner party last Friday. I really had

a nice time.

M: Really? I am very glad you enjoyed it. It’s not a big deal and. I t’s nice to be with you all.

L : Anyway, thank you again for bringing us so much happiness. By the way, we’re all going out for a film tonight. Do you want to go with us?

M: Thanks, but no thanks.. I’m afraid I have to finish this book report before tomorrow’s class.

L : Oh, poor you. And i t’s too bad you can’t come together.

M: I’m sorry. I wish I could go. Maybe next time.
