Unit 1 W hat’ s the matter? 说课稿

Section A 1a-1c

一、说教材

1、教材分析

本单元以“What’s the matter? ”为话题,学习谈论健康状况及如何针对身体不适问题提出建议,并倡导人们注意健康饮食及养成良好的生活习惯。本节课是第一课时,是本单元的重点内容,主要学习有关身体部位的单词以及运用句型“What’ s the matter ?”和“I have a…?”询问和描述身体情况。

2、教学目标

《英语课程标准》指出:初二的学生要能听懂简单的故事的情节发展,能根据连续的指令完成任务,能在教师的帮助下或根据图片用简单的语言描述以及发展语言综合运用能力等。在认真分析教材的基础上,我针对学生实际,将本课时的教学目标确定如下:

(1)知识目标:掌握有关身体部位以及疾病的词汇,并学会运用“What’ s the matter ?”和“I have a…?”询问和描述身体情况.

(2)能力目标:能运用所学句型询问和描述身体健康状况, 提高听、说、读的综合能力。

(3)情感目标:教育学生要注意身体健康, 学会关心他人。

3、教学重点和难点

(1)教学重点:学习有关身体部位及疾病的词汇,以及如何询问和回答身体健康状况。

(2)教学难点:在实际生活中灵活运用所学新句型进行交流。

二、说教法

为了突破这堂课的重难点,我本着贯彻新课标以学生为主体,教师为主导的理念,根据中学生有一定英语基础但学习积极性不高的具体情况,以及心理特点,主要采取直观教学法、游戏教学法和任务型教学法。让学生在教师的指导下主动参与到教学活动中来,提高学生学习的积极性。

三、说学法

结合以上的教学方法,引导学生在学习本课时采用自主学习和合作学习相结合的方式,培养学生自主学习的能力和合作精神。以上就是我对学生学习方法的指导,最后我详细地来说一说教学程序。

四、Teaching procedures

Step 1 Warming up (3 minus)

1.Greetings

I will greet with students as usual to make students relax.

2. Sing a song

Singing an English song can make Ss feel relaxed and satisfied, so Ss are quickly into happy English studying. It’s helpful for Ss learning new knowledge.

Step 2 Lead in (1 minus)

Show two pictures, the first picture is a healthy person and the second picture is a blind person. Let Ss look at the pictures and lead in the topic “What’s the matter?”

Step 3 New words (10 minus)

1. Let Ss look at the pictures again and point out which part of body wrong with the second person, and then say the name of each part of body.

2. Show the first picture. Review some words of body parts and teach the new words ---foot, neck, stomach, and throat.

3. Game: let Ss say the words as quickly as they can when the teacher points at the different parts of body.

4. Practice: Let Ss finish 1a by themselves and check the answer.

Step 4 New sentences (20 minus)

1. Show pictures. Let Ss look at the pictures carefully and find out what’s the matter? /what’s wrong with them? The teacher asks and help Ss try to answer the question.

T: What’s the matter?

Ss: She has a cold.

T: What’s wrong with him?

Ss: He has a stomach ache.

T: What’s wrong with her?

Ss: She has a tooth ache.

T: What’s the matter?

Ss: He has a sore back.

T: What’s the matter?

Ss: She has a sore throat.

2.The teacher teaches the sentences “What’s the matter? /What’s wrong

with sb.? He/She has a…/I have a …”

3.Let Ss read the sentences two times.
