定语从句

1.为什么会需要使用定语从句？

I like that girl.

The girl is in red.

=

The pen is black.

The pen belongs to me.

=

This is my classroom.

The classroom’s window is open.

=

由上可知，当两个句子中有重复的名词出现时一定可以使用定语从句。重复的部分叫先行词，从句中缺少什么部分说明先行词在从句中充当什么成分。

所以说定语从句往往出现在什么词性之后呢？

2.定语从句的连词有哪些?

1)先行词是人时，连词可用who, whom, that.

Ex：请先填出连词，再找出先行词在从句中充当的成分。

The number of people ________lost their homes reached as many as 250,000.

The boy _________the teacher often praises is their monitor.

2)先行词是物时，连词可用which，that

请先填出连词，再找出先行词在从句中充当的成分。

It was felt in Beijing, ________is more than two hundred kilometers away.

Later that afternoon, another big earthquake________was almost as strong as the first one shook Tangshan.

3)Whose 表示所属, 翻译成“。。。的”The classroom _______door is broken is mine.

I saw some trees _______leaves were black.

I like my sister _______hair is soft.

This is the person ________story surprised everybody.

4)介词+whom/which 重点

He is a man ________we are all ready to learn.

分析: 1) 还原成简单句=He is a man. We are all ready to learn________. 2)合并成一个句子

Ex：This is the man _________I shake my hands.

This is the partner __________I talk.

She has three children, all of ______are at school.

He had a son _________he took pride.

Wu Dong _________I went to the concert enjoyed it very much.

同理：This is the house__________I live.

This is the book _______I’m looking.

This is the pen ________he wrote.

Her bag________she put all her books has not been found.

This is the book________he devoted all the energy.

He bought a book yesterday, the author_______is a teacher.

=He bought a book yesterday _______author is a teacher.

由此可推出：whose +n =n+of which

5)只能用that 不能用which和who的情况。---当先行词是all, little,much, something, anything等不定代词时

----当先行词被the only, the very, the last,all 等修饰时

6)只能用which,不能用that的情况

----介词后加which时，不能用that替换

----非限制性定语从句中，用which时不能用that替换
